Who's your favorite musician from Canada?
Personally, I've been kinda obsessed as of lately with i am robot and proud (below), an indie electronic musician known for many great tracks. I've talked about him before as well.
He was born and raised in Toronto, and still lives there I believe, but he lived in Japan for a while as well. Good stuff.
Nickelback is a great band with overwhelming talent.

Surely you must be jesting. Don't get me wrong, "Silver Side Up" was a good album, but most of their music really does sound the same with their current vocalist. They would be a lot better if the made more complex, interesting stuff and made more instrumentals to vary things up.

I don't think I listen to any Canadian bands. :/ Most of the music I listen to comes from the US, England, or Australia. I don't think Canadians are into metalcore (but if anyone knows any Canadian metalcore bands I'd like to listen to them :3).

I do too. Well, I only know just a few, not all, and I can't be sure that I'd like every single one.
But aside from i am robot and proud, Rush is cool, and there's just a ton of other Canadian bands and musicians I just can't think of now.
I prefer Anvil and am quite satisfied with their new album.
