Wait, what part of Virginia? We're not exactly out of the thick of the woods either.

People need to chill out. It's gonna drizzle for a couple hours and nothing more. At least in NJ anyway.

Seriously? That's...pretty dark, and certainly worries me. Still, good luck to you as well. You should probably go as far west in Virginia as you can, because about the entire eastern half of it is still in the hurricane's predicted path.

I'm betting not a God-damn thing happens.
Some rain, but it won't be shit.
These things always hit land and die out before they reach us.
I'm not stupid, I'm prepared... but I'm not so sure this is going to be the 'HOLY SHIT WE'RE ALL DEAD' event everyone is making it out to be.
Hopefully, I'm correct
Yeah, we do seem to have the tenancy to just barely get grazed by all the serious storms, but usually the surrounding states don't evacuate for said storms. It's really too early to completely flip shit or to decide it's not going to do anything, we just have to sit and watch for awhile longer.
You look nice today.
This guy brutally sodomizes me.
Cereal is pretty cool. If you're cool you'll add me on Steam. Also, Letterboxd.

I heard something about mandatory evacuations in NYC. Any truth to that? I've been looking through news articles and see nothing.
I will admit I'm a bit worried about Philly too.

Well you guys, I wish you the best of luck, but I ain't gonna lie, I'm glad it isn't me!
I did Katrina and Gustav and Rita and they were no fun.
I'm happy to actually be the one watching the news, not on it this go round.
Give it another week or two, I'm sure something lame will come down this way.
Be careful, leave if they recommend you to, don't be idiots when trees and power lines come down, and stay outta the flood water.
Gustav , only a cat 1 by time it reached me. Observe

Apparently, they're prepared to evacuate the coastal areas.
I know other coastal areas are being evacuated as well, such as Ocean City, MD.

Since the city panics and shuts down for 2 inches of snow in the winters, I can see things getting very ugly if this Hurricane actually hits.
Also, my plans to go down to the beach this weekend to check out the surf have been thwarted, since NJ is now evacuating the areas I usually go to.

Hurricanes and Earthquakes? If there is a God, they must strongly disapprove of how our government is running things.

I live in Northeast Ohio, I could basically sit on my roof and watch it pass by.
