Does anyone know any sites like Newgrounds where I can submit my animations and or games?
If you're a loser that is.
If you get to the professional level you could sell your work to a place like armorgames.com, or kongregate.com, but they wouldn't accept non-professional work. Newgrounds is the one and only.

Because if I submit to multiple sites I will get known and could collaborate with more people.

That kinda thinking will get you nowhere, J-Rex. It's not about submitting and getting known as much as it is improving on your own skill. Don't worry about trying to obtain fame, not at least until you develop a skill. Yes, it's good to get noticed, and you're at the top site to get that. Now, work at it, practice, it'll come when it comes.

Well you could always run your own site and try to get people to visit it. Other people do that from MikeyS9607 to JAZZA.

If you called it something like dave710256973.com you'd probably get way more hits. All the best website names consist of a generic name followed by several numbers.

Thats actually what Newgrounds is for. Think about it. HappyHarry, Egoraptor, zeckeyspacelizzard, edmundMcmillen, all have one thing in common. They are now making a living animating, or designing games, or otherwise, and it all started here.

If you keep practicing, submit to newgrounds, get feedback and improve your skills, then you can probably get to the level where people will be willing to sponsor you.
