3xOsc isn't a VST at all. It works in conjunction with FL's built-in channel envelopes.
Synth 1 is a great alternative with some more interesting routing options and nicer sounding oscillators, imo. I used entropy AGES ago and it was kinda similar but still kinda unique which was cool!

3xOSC just means Three Oscillators. You can find many VSTs similiar to the one inside Fruity Loops, and most VSTs and Audio Units work with every DAW out there, assuming you download PC and MAC specific ones. I have a mac, so I download MAC VSTs. If you have a PC, download PC VSTs. Use google.
