I understand this VST comes bundled with FL Studio, but is it available separately elsewhere? Does it work with other DAWs?

I don't think it's available separately, but I'm sure you can find another VST similar to it. Just look up 3-oscillator subtractive synthesizers lol. I found this (it's free): http://www.kvraudio.com/db/entropy_by_de _la_mancha

3xOsc isn't a VST at all. It works in conjunction with FL's built-in channel envelopes.

Synth 1 is a great alternative with some more interesting routing options and nicer sounding oscillators, imo. I used entropy AGES ago and it was kinda similar but still kinda unique which was cool!

It's not. It's proprietary software within FL Studio.

3xOSC just means Three Oscillators. You can find many VSTs similiar to the one inside Fruity Loops, and most VSTs and Audio Units work with every DAW out there, assuming you download PC and MAC specific ones. I have a mac, so I download MAC VSTs. If you have a PC, download PC VSTs. Use google.
