I'm hoping to get into stop motion animating, but I don't know so much about it, mainly about clay. Does anyone know what type of clay I should get? Better yet, could someone send me a link so I could order it from Amazon or something?

in America the clay of choice is Van Aken, in the U.K. it's Newplast. Newplast is a little better, but the shipping cost will kill you. here's where I buy Van Aken:

Well, I live in the UK, so that works out pretty well. Thanks a lot, it's really appreciated. :)

Just goto your art suplies store .. regular modeling clay should be fine comes in a variety of colors and i can tell you it works efficiently for the price i got "clay toon" and was satisified with the results! Make sure to use properly structed wires for your characters because once you start to film the puppet can come apart and such.... so beware and good luck!
