A minecraft related game.

I am making something like Minecraft Structure Planer and i have some as2 experience but i cant seem to get it right,i try but i cant seem to do it.

The gameplay: There are a bunch of "blocks" which u can place on left mouse button,you change the block on mouse scroll and delete it on right mouse click,BUT i cant seem to succed at coding it,can someone do it or help me?

Notch(Creator of MineCraft) gained years of java experience and made that game(And there are additional code programmers too). The game is made with Java. Java is usually used for programming applications to the websites or your phone. In As2, you're unable to make a game like this. AS3 is similiar to the Java so you are able to make a game like MineCraft, but you must go into the depths of the AS3.

you can't use right click in flash to use for anything like that because as far as I know even when you get ride of the right click menu it still has 1 or 2 options appears as default

But this i s a 2d mouse game,you dont move,you dont do anything but plan...

Well im ok with as3 but than i needthe COMPLETE code,becausei never used as3 and i have flash cs3...

nobody's going to give you complete code for a game so you can pass it off as your own. go and learn as3, do something simple first, work your way up, and ask on forums for help with specific parts when you get stuck.

I laughed the most about the 'if he wants' part. Anyway, I think this has been done before in flash. At least I know for sure that an I phone app exists that is a simple minecraft simulation. Just let it go, learn some code and come up with something original.

No it isn't... Papervision 3D, Away 3D are 2 popular 3D engines for Flash. I have made a few 3D prototypes messing with bitmapData and sprites.

Erm...no, they're not 3rd party programs, they are pure Actionscript files. In other words, you could program your own functioning 3d engine in Flash...I have several times...

Now just suck it up, and start learning AS3 with tutorials, or at least prove to us you can make Minecraft, even in 2D. I'd like to see that...
