What is this thread about?;
This is an rpg-eque thread where you are asked to create a character serious or otherwise. The thread has plot points which your character should follow (reasonably). Much like Battle Royale but more nerdy.

Guide?
You must put effort into your character sketches, be sure to have a brief description of your character in the first post, but no one cares so much that they'll read paragraphs of story, so keep it simple.

Each post should include a picture, and some text describing what is occuring, even if you post a comic.

You cannot kill other characters, unless I introduce them and you can introduce any villains or monsters or heroes or sidekicks you want but if you do they are free for anyone to use, only your character is under your sole control.

Try not to make your character too "awesome" or powerful, and try to make them interesting.

The world is vast, you have to start in Foro village but that doesn't mean you are from the village, you have free reign to make your character a gun toting cowboy or an alien, or an amorphous blob or someone from a futuristic dystopia so long as you don't act too ridiculous
General Information:Intra Retia, a mysterious world of things known and unknown, and knowing the unknown is there but not knowing what the unknown is.

There are many lands in Intra, most notably, the continent of Nova Ratione, a wild kingdom ruled by Thomas Fullop. Under Thomas, the kingdom is split into many factions, within the factions are various guilds who align themselves with a view of good or evil. The land has been peaceful up until fog descended and from the fog, trolls, cats and various other hideous monsters. This recent development sprouted factions, and religions all trying to explain the fog or blame the fog on one another.

The foremost faction is a group of heretic priests following a fallen deity known as Kraig The Black Marquee. Other factions and sects exist such as the Cloques Crusaders and the Feles Faction, and guilds are also abound.

And more:
The land of Nova Ratione there are an endless variety of races the foremost being human but there's trolls who've become members of the nation, as well as outsiders from the farthest parts of Intra and who knows what kinds of things those creatures are.

Beginning:Gathering in Foro village, those who wish to rise against the growing corrupt religion of the Black Marquee are joining arms, but so are members of the religion, to spy on the resistance. And various others gather for their own personal reasons.

It's night time, and the village is small, somewhat dilapidated and in the distance wolves hear the goings on, slowly, they march towards the village.

This is Enorba Bombas, an elf of the Engineer's Guild. She has a Bag of Holding filled with goodies such as bombs and specific, useless gadgets. ;o

This is my character.
He's an intelligent bear with an affinity for alcohol and pink spandex.
He's also a Drunk Fu adept.
Totally original, swear to God.

This is Eoxqf.

It is the mind of an eldritch entity, sealed into a diminutive cactus residing in a magical pot.

Eoxqf has powers of enhancement and possession, allowing it to multiply its hosts innate powers a thousandfold.

Unfortunately for it, a pot's innate power multiplied a thousandfold merely gives it the not so impressive ability to hop around and be nigh indestructible.

A cactus's power multiplied a thousandfold isn't very impressive either, but it is a living thing, and therefore can manipulate magical energies (if only to a small degree currently).

This electric magician travels from a far land, and brings with him the knowledge of a thousand types of circuits. Dark and mysterious (and vertically challenged), his motives are unknown, although from the lands he has traveled through there have been whispers that he works for an evil, dark force.

He fights with an unusually high INT stat, and it should be notices that the axe-like object is not an axe, but a rather hefty lightening rod with a stored charge.

All beard and no-nonsense, this virtual conjurer is here on his terms.

This is Larrue De Blanc, a brave young boy and native to Foro village, he's the drummer boy for the resistance, stubborn yet obedient he follows all orders from the leaders of the resistance to a tee.

I didn't want to imply he didn't think though, so I tried an alternate phrasing but that failed I guess.

Tomorrow I'll start up the story, whoever else creates characters can still create them, just try and introduce your character into the story as it develops do not start them up in the "beginning" when we are past Foro.

Alright Time for one of the first backgrounds for this.

Broken Cask Tavern

Although maybe a little too large.... nvm I'll size it down real fast

Anyway.

Inside is a Short, smelly older man. He isn't all that pleasent to look at, but he does own the bar and know a bit about the town and surrounding area. He walks with a slight limp, an " Old War Injury" as he calls it.

Yay Introducing NPC's already but yet to come up with my own Player Character :D

Their is also 2 bar maids working for him. They aren't very pretty, but for a warrior after a hard trail they are good enough.

About the place their is a bar and about 6 tables, one with a real bad wobble. And about a dozen good chairs for everyone.
The upper floor is off limits due to it being storage for the liquor.

That should do for now. I guess once I come up with a character, This will be a good show up place.

This is Audio, an enchanted stereo speaker who wears a top hat to feel spiffy.
He plays music n shit and comes from a rave club over in highly technologically advanced (yet closed to outsiders) floating city of Riseng, where two sorcerers got in a fight and spells went haywire. It flew down on an airship (you can leave the city, but nobody can enter, naturally) cause it got bored of the city, where everything is shiny and it's become a little outdated as technology advances further up there.
It enjoys loud, electronic music (see also: techno) and fails at anything requiring stealth.

Stands about 3'4", weighs about 70lb.

It has discovered the ability to produce deafening and even stunning sound waves, not to mention concussive blasts that can crack stone.
It speaks in any voice it wants to, sometimes male and sometimes female, with any accent it pleases. It has no sense of smell, touch, or taste. It does not require energy to live, but sometimes plugs itself in (if available) to charge up for louder sounds.

Awe yes thee name is "Flex the Rex" and I don't give a bloody damn about any of aw, but if you have gold and rear items you can talk to me cuz I love me a quest and I love me a good bloody woman by me side. Me and my axe will show aw a thing or too if to try to pick on my wee size of a stature... so don't do it, other than that I am a freaking grate addition to the team.

Larrue shouted a command for attention and speedily everyone turned to see what the boy had to say.

He spoke addressed the people interested in joining the resistance and beckoned they join him in the town tavern and for everyone else to leave or go to the inn because wolves descend into the village around this time.

WAIT! I don't take any orders from nobody, what is this resistance any way. I have never heard of such a thing...
