I love both but can't strike a balance or maybe I can and not sure if I have already or not. What are your thoughts? Everything is so blurry! And no I'm not high... yet..

Take a deep breath, and put your hand away from the weed...
Make mistakes, so you don't learn from them.
Happiness is always real, whether you derive that happiness from a real life situation or a virtual situation, it's still real happiness. Also, it is possible to derive happiness from both without one offsetting the other.
People often confuse comfort with happiness, but other then that there's no real discernible "type" of happiness. A man with a virtual girlfriend is no less happy then a man with a real girlfriend (who are we kidding? The first ones way happier) but is hell of a lot more... pathetic.
Deriving happiness from virtual sources does not mean that the happiness is virtual, though.
Virtual happiness = A part of real happiness

That is so Deep that my head had is even more confused now! More then when I started the post! So this means Virtual = Real ?
how can you be virtually happy?
I mean, im happy playing online games up until that fucking cunt pulls headshots out his ass at which point I become a facist nazi and everything must die but still
Death cures a fool
There is no such thing as 'fake happiness'. If something makes you happy, go for it. But I wouldn't neglect my real life playing some sh** ... Some years later you will regret it.
no, second life is fake and not real , what could possibly be real about pixel people ?
now, get a real life

If you find a nice balance, you'll be happy.

There's no such thing as "Virtual Happiness." If you become happy over things that happened in a virtual world then it's still really happiness...
And as long as you don't over do it, it's perfectly fine.
How do you only have 6 posts in 5 years?

The only happiness I get from virtual things is stat whoring.
I much rather prefer happiness away from the computer.
It's just that usually it's accepted that people that are dissatisfied with reality the go to virtual reality. So when I initially made this post I was wondering if there is a flip side to that belief! If I'm happy and ok with reality does it mean I'll be sad and depressed in virtual?

no. who doesn't get happiness and enjoyment from playing online games?
it's just that the 'virtual happiness', as you've put, never lasts. once you become addicted to the internet, you'll get less and less satisfaction, until either become even more reliant on it, or reduce computer use and try to get a real life.
I am just a random user from a set of measure zero and thus am negligible.

Hey, I agree with this user.
Interesting concept.
I'm happy on both ends, but I am ultimately more happy online :)

Virtual people are as real as the real people behind them. Virtual people can make you happy and sad. I think emotions in virtual world count as real. But is there any real value in virtual interaction to your real life? Yes you can be happy from a virtual world and virtual people in it but is it beneficial to you in real life or is it actually destructive like smoking or alcohol abuse?
Is virtual fun just another legal happy pill?
DOES HAPPINESS = GUCCI MANE?
Anybody who gets happiness in ways society says you should not get happiness is a loser and should be shunned.
I LIKE MONEY

I'm virtually angry right now.
real happyness
But one of my favorite things about the internet is that there are so many other people out there just like you, or you just have a good bit of things in common with.
Its hard for me to be open about my real self in rl, as I have a butload of embarassing fetishes, and a few that i just dont feel right letting other people (in real life) know about.
Zag, confucianism, tox, ragnarokia, and other people not on newgrounds (like people who have as much of a passion for sipce and wolf as i do) are all realy fun people to talk to, simply because i have things in common with all of them.
