Actually, I just put new music in my playlist and listen to it randomly with the other songs on there. If I listen to new songs too much, I just get sick of it and stop listening to the song.

Any music player counts.

Hey bro, I like music, I don't have an ipod but i have an MP3 player. I do that sometimes, but mostly i like to just hit shuffle and think while the music plays.
I do this with entire albums that feature songs that seemingly flow into eachother. See Soundtrack To A Vacant Life or something similarly diverse and well-produced.
I used to do that all the time!!
I still do sometimes, but not as much.
cocks.
Yep, and then it's not as good anymore after a million listens.
Pretty much yeah, and then you get sick of it, don't listen to it for 2 years and rediscover. The cycle repeats.

But there will be a new song, that you will start to like.

I changed that week to years after I found a techno song over an hour long.

I don't own an I-pod. I do own an iPod though.
Yes, I do that. I wear the song/album out so much that I never touch it again, usually.

I do the same thing.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
I happen to be doing that with Chris Brown's "Look at me now"
Its the busta rhymes part of the song that keeps me comin' back for more.

Aww, shucks. Thanks!
Did I mention I can wipe out any continent?
Not really. I tend to find albums that I like and listen to them repeatedly. I rarely listen to the same song over and over again. Recently I've been playing:
John Zorn - Kristallnacht.
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless.
Merzbow - Flare Gun.
Ryoji Ikeda - 0°C.
Oh.. yes. I download the new album from a favorite band and listen to it non-stop for like a week then don't listen to it at all for like a year. Right now, Trivium's new album, In Waves.

Incorrect.
I don't listen to music during road trips.

I've noticed that younger people tend to listen to songs they like over and over again. I used to do this but as I've gotten older I notice more things about the songs I listen. Now I can't seem to get addicted to any one song. It's cool though, I'm open to more music and it makes listening to music more enjoyable.
all the time. all the fucking time. I'm starting to dig Mac Miller and I listen to him over the weekend over and over while on a trip to Atlanta.
pretty much, yep. then i stop listening after a few weeks and find another favourite song.
