I've used it at my dad's house because I'm not allowed to download anything. Because Google Chrome is a "virus".
Chrome master race reporting in.

That is one of the reasons I ditched IE.

On a slower computer (Pentium 4 or Athlon XP) Opera and Chrome are still MEGA fast oading pages and playing YouTube, while with IE8 on this Athlon XP 2.2 GHz Internet Explorer plays YouTube slower. With enough power the difference doesn't exist, but again on an older machine IE sucks, and don't even get me started on how slow FireFox is on this machine.

I started using Firefox again. And even now, IE9 pisses me off. I don't even use it because I don't have it. My Windows Vista continuously brings up popups reading "Install Internet Explorer 9" which are always annoying. I'm not going to install something that put a virus that wouldn't allow me to use anything on my desktop. Because that's what the virus did. I'm not sure how the virus was caused, but I do know that Internet Explorer's poor self-antivirus stuff is not working/even there.

Lol, a browser isn't responsible for making sure you don't get viruses. I'm 100% positive if you had downloaded or visited that page again with FireFox or any other browser you'd get the same virus.

firefox is no longer as good as it used to be

I actually think It's the other way around. FireFox has come a long way. It used to be a lot slower and use a FUCK TON of memory. It became popular a few years ago anyways because of it's open source design, and that I respect for specific developers who need the technicality it brings to the table.

The problem is that the ignorant douchebags that just use the basic addons like adblock and the download manager are all like "omfg FireFox pwns the shit, any one that uses IE has low IQ, I'm cool h4x0r 21st century trends bitch" when they have no idea what they are talking about. And I see grown adults on web shows all the time saying they use FireFox because It's better, and that I don't get. FireFox is a decent web browser by itself but isn't better than any other browser these days, it only gets an edge when the user is a programmer and needs the extra options and special addons it has (a huge collection too). Internet Explorer, Chrome and Opera all have great addons similar to FireFox's basic addons, and are all fast and smooth, with Chrome and Opera being particularly snappy with low memory usage.

Chrome is faster, shows more of the screen, and integrates well with the Google-centered internet.

I just prefer Google Chrome because it's smooth looking, not to mention decent addons and fast speed.

FireFox does use a fair bit of memory, but that is only if you have enough to spare, if you have less it uses less.

IE is just an excuse of a browser. IE9 mowed some of the flaws out but new patches of a flawed browser appeareed.

Chrome is the best.
