I just got a red bar at the top of my gmail saying my e-mail was recently accessed in Georgia (I'm in California) and on July 22 it said it was accessed in FUCKING MEXICO. I guess I saw the red bar before, ignored it, and may pay for it. My fucking password is going around like a god damn whore! I got hacked, but they didn't change my password. I'm afraid they are trying to keep it cool by not doing any thing to my e-mail but look for passwords to other sites. Luckily the only password I keep saved is the one for my Quadradius account.
How this may have happened? I was in Wisconsin on a family trip (from the 20th to last week) and was using our unprotected home wifi. Now, this was at a lake in the middle of the fucking woods! So remember, use protection kids, because there WILL be some one trying to hack you where ever you go!
I don't think I'll need to change my password for facebook since it isn't in my e-mail but please suggest other things I should do besides changing my gmail password (which I did!)

I already have 4CHAN on it. I posted in /b/, but don't go looking for it as the pages change all the time..I can't even find it myself right now (though I saw it when i first posted it)

Well when you post up a new thread, remember to always type noko for the email, so you are automatically taken to your thread you just posted.

Probably just pinged through servers in those locations, unless you have a short and/or plain text password.

Yea, could be the problem here. I have frequently spied on insecure wifi hotspots, and just by capturing the packets, you can see a lot of email clients simply send email passwords in plain text. I got some guy's email account and password like this, but didn't do anything other than alert him as I'm nice like that and just wanted to prove a point of how insecure it was. It's not even illegal as you just passively watch the packets, you don't even have to decode anything.

Thankfully you changed your password to something more secure this time.

If I was actually hacked though, how the hell did it end up in Mexico? It scares me if countries sell each other this marketing shit. Especially Mexico, they must be paying big for American passwords, because I'd never deal with a government as corrupt as Mexico without making huge bank.
Anonymous isn't your personal army, and quite frankly, I doubt they'll give a shit if you're getting hacked. Change your password and you'll be fine, get ad-aware or something like that and avoid shady sites and you wont get keylogged, which is probably what happened here.
I'm back, I guess.
