I doubt it. While a big ape that walks on 2 feet doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility, I have never seen any compelling evidence for it's existence. All of the evidence I have seen either gets debunked as a hoax, gets debunked as another animal, or is inconclusive but there is still a more likely explanation.

My father has brought up a really, really good point. With all the logging that people do in North America, why haven't we found a really large creature that fits the identity of a Bigfoot or Sasquatch? In the short 200 years we have been here, we have grown very large and expanded all across the United States. You'd think we would have captured one of them by now. Nature isn't too safe from humans.

Yes, he does. There was a series on the History Channel if I recall correctly, called "Monster Quest." I really enjoyed it. It was all about things like the Bigfoot, Jersey Devil, and more. Unfortunately the channel cancelled the show because they wanted to go a new way with their programming.
