you forgot most of these dungeon dwellers don't have friends.
And I love the whole "pre-teen" girls on face-book shit, why don't you look to the kid who gets the most pussy in your school, chances are that kid has a facebook.
no its time for the social rejects to try and "flame me"
I usually support the various Anon operations but this just seems silly.
Then again, if Facebook IS selling user info to government agencies that sounds like a problem and in that case I feel the attack is justified.
This is why I'm glad i only gave facebook my "name" and nothing else.

What? Bullshit; How about you give us more than two sources that aren't wikipedia.
Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.

if this is legit, then by all means take down the fuckers, I'm not that attached to my fb, that Id let the govt. know everything about me, then again I only have my name on it with the school I go to, not much to go by really besides my grades.

This, it will be hilarious to see all the prepubescent teenage girls cry because they can't stalk their friends.
Putting back fun in funeral.
But Facebook has server farms, so they would catch him. Is it really that hard to get a public IP and trace it?
Yeah, good luck, nerds. It sure is awful that Facebook will forever know that I like Doctor Who and went to UMO.

The playstation network was hacked by lulzsec not anonymous. Anonymous is fighting for a mostly just cause in my opinion, but lulzsec just wants to cause trouble.

I know right, remember how in the Playstation newtwork event they were caught shortly after it happened, it was confirmed it was anon shortly after it happened.

Most likely they don't use there real IP, but instead use something like TOR. or a similar proxy network.

Why don't we just send secret government sponsored super nano-bots after them?
I wouldn't be supprised if this actually happened.

We can't build them, we don't have the technology, or maybe we do but just don't want to spend a lot of money

In before someone else.
My first thought too.
There was a man from Dundee,
Who's limericks always ended on line three,
I don't know why.

Syria might get serious. THIS IS THE BIGGEST EVENT TO HAPPEN SINCE......last week...
They make it all sound way too scary.
Should be interesting to see what happens? I wouldn't be foolish enough to call Shenanigans but is it achievable?
What a bunch of winners.
I do agree that facebook is kind of stupid, and I think it would be quite funny to see the people who spend their entire lives on facebook freak out if it was shut down for good. Think of all the little teenage and college girls who can't flaunt their whoreish behavior anymore.. they will be crushed!
I'm not concerned, there's nothing incriminating or embarassing on my Facebook that I would be scared to be uncovered. Plus why would you be afraid of Bonzi Buddy hacking your shit?
So what if they do? Who gives a fuck. People can live without it. Even if they did hack it, it would recover. I don't use it, so I could give ten shits less.
"Fuck you facebook for being a constant reminder I have no friends."
That's what I heard anyway.
I want them to attack it, even if it's for a little while. I know Facebook will recover in no time, but I just have a hatred of big mega corporations on the Internet -- Google, Facebook, ect.
Sadly, Anon won't be able to destroy it. Never.

Anonymous is a painful bunch of 15 year olds who hack out of the way websites and think their 'epic lols'.
The amount of news just dropping the name anonymous everywhere and saying its a hacking group or something is just mind-numbingly fail.
