Since when was this about Dads? These riots are being caused by kids, 12- early twenties they either do not have children or have multiple and gotten a few of the east ends slags preggas and are awaiting another batch and don't even know their fucking names and never see em. If there is anything you can pin this on it's social class, but in my opinion it's utter stupidity and mob mentality that is driving these riots. That said, police have control over London for now it seems.

Yeah I kept hearing reports of congregations in the gardens, star lane, and the priory school, and there were bill at the park entrance earlier too but I never heard anything. Deadly quiet actually. I think it'll be pretty much over tonight.

Looting and attacking people, if this was about the way fathers are treated, which it isn't. I say they are treated just right for the type of people they clearly are.

That's not typical for fathers for justice. And I'm talking about the reason that the father was shooting at the police. It was probably because of how he was treated by the family courts, and one particular father had enough of it, and he chose to get violent with his oppressors.

Have you heard the story of Thomas Ball?

http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/164827/2 0110617/thomas-ball-self-immolate-child-
support.htm

Men are killing themselves due to their treatment in family courts. There is something inarguably wrong here.

Thoroughly ignorant statements.

If judges did hat was best for the child, then they would let men be dads.

Do you live around there?

If so, become a DAd, deal with the family courts, and them come, and talk to me.

A man once described hell as a place where there is no reason. Thank you, Feminists, for dragging me into hell.

That is an incredibly stupid argument and also please learn to spell. I'm not going to talk to you after this seen as though this is about the riots. If you want to show you incredibly biased view on family cases then make a thread about it

I almost moved to Deansgate in Manchester, apparently they're fucking shit up there too... just around the corner from the Arndale afaik.

Yea, I wasn't expecting Manchester to get this bad based on previous news coverage. If things don't happen to die down over the next couple nights I'm going to have to consider cancelling my trip to Manchester this Friday, which is extremely frustrating seeing as I have been waiting a couple months for this. I'll definitely be trying to keep a damn close eye on what's going on.

I wonder how long this rioting will actually go on.

Yeah these riots have nothing to do with fathers for justice. Maybe while you're banned you can spend more time sucking the dicks of fathers for justice and less time derailing threads on the interwebz.

I'm actually wondering which would be better, if they ended quickly so that this could all be over and done with, or if they continued to the point where eventually martial law got set in. But no idea how long that will take.

The first day was stupid but was suppose to have a spark for it. All days after are just milking the chance to cause trouble. I really can't stand people who are really going to do it again tonight just for their own selfish wants.

Apparently, it's all kicking off here in Stockport. Worrying since I live right next to the town centre.

Which city are they referring to? I notice London doesn't seem to be getting much coverage by the BBC just now. They seem far more focused on the other cities just now.

When the army takes control. If those idiots don't stop it is inevitable in the end, and they really don't want to push it that far.

Military takes over would pretty much be the jist of it. It's what happened to the Southern US after the Civil War.

Normally I would never think zombies were in real life, but reading a zombie book right before hearing about terrible riots in London just sorta put things together.

Of course, there's no outbreak. Just rioting. I'm sure.

I think it's a decent solution. I'd think the problem is partly to do with the fact that people just don't seem to be scared of law enforcement. Looking at the images of London from last night, it looked like it went well past the stage where tear gas, water cannons and rubber bullets should have been put to use.

If anything, surly a military presence on the streets would help to intimidate rioters and hopefully make them start to back off. Our justice system is just too soft on people now.

I am too. Unfortunately, some assholes on youtube are just spamming ads and reposted videos so any actual videos of the riot right now are very hard to find.

The police are doing a fantastic job down here in Manchester. While obviously we're still suffering from riots, the police are putting their plans into place and taking no messing around. They're keeping the crowds moving and not allowing them to form. As i said before, we're still suffering from riots, but we're not going through what London or T/ham suffered last night.... As of yet.

Either way a clean up has been organised for tomorrow morning at 9am in Piccadily gardens, and I myself am hoping to get myself down there and help clean up.

However, as I'm viewing now on the news, the police are playing a game of "Cat and Mouse" however, the rioters have just made their way into the Arndale centre. However they've started barricading roads, yet what the rioters are doing, they're running up a road, seeing the police, and then splitting and going down side-streets.

They go to breach a shop, the police come, and then they go and breach another store. It's a dangerous game, but the police are doing well in the sense that they're blocking the rioters and chasing them in the hope they'll eventually just run off.

But the night is still young. It's been described as a "War Zone".
