Did the drug dealer get hold of the same ammunition the police use? The bullet found in the radio was consistent with what the cops use.

BBC just reported that there has now been cases of looting in Salford.

I wonder if they'll go for the Trafford Centre?. I was told there were a pocket full of them around Eccles, but I can't confirm.

I live in the northwest UK, and I wouldn't be surprised if tonight the little faggots around here kick off.

in all fairness there are definatly a couple of places around here that could do with being torched, and I certainly wouldn't mind a new TV

Look guys, just stop and think a while, not that I am telling you what to do or anything man, BUT-

I've got free hugs, a few bongos to start the drum circle and some William Blake poems for us all to read. Why don't we all just... chillax, man?

Well it's been confirmed that the gun found at the scene of Mark Duggans death wasn't fired for what it's worth.

Great. I suppose that negates the fact that he had it on him in the first place.

Stop using violence to deal with the rioters...has there been a single case of violence from the police yet in this whole incident? Silly Iran.

I doubt they will go around there, and I hope not also since it would be closer to me.

I'm just starting to ignore it and continue at the moment, hoping it won't come near me. I can't really do anything to stop the low lives as it is now so I'm going to hope the government finally do something about it, or a vigilante does.

No, but it puts more pressure on the police to justify their actions if he were surrendering.

I don't think anyone would really give a shit one way or another, anyone who concentrates on this person being killed and not other things is sort of missing whats going on. Whether they killed him for a legitimate reason or mutilated his body isn't going to change anything but the press and their attempts at trying to say the riots were justified in some way.

One thing is certain, the government have to abandon plans to cut police numbers, but I got a feeling tonight will be alright in comparison to last night which was just plain anarchy.

Closest place to me I can see riots breaking out would be Chester or Liverpool. I believe there have already been minor riots in Liverpool? I can't see much happening in Chester though..

You'd think so with 16,000 cops ready for action. I'm still finding it hard to believe that all this stuff has actually happened. It just doesn't seem like something you'd expect to see in Britain. I wonder how many more nights this chaos will continue and I guess we can only hope that last night was the peak of the violence.

I'm also a little surprised that nothing seems to be kicking off up here in Scotland. Suppose I should be thankful for that.

Are you aloud to have a paintball gun?

With a big tank of Co2 and a lot of ammo, you can do some pretty decent crowd control.

Freezing the paintballs makes for a lethal combo!

but I hear the newer paintballs are hard to freeze idk.

Liverpool ONE closed two hours earlier and my mum left Birkenhead town centre as advice from the regional manager. They're taking extra procedures which I'm happy for but my dad is still in Liverpool. Hopefully he gets back without any trouble.

This is getting pretty crazy now. Luckily I live far enough away from a major city to be unaffected, but my dad has to go to work in London tomorrow.

7 arrests in Manchester now. Thankfully things aren't looking to be anywhere near as bad as London was. Fingers crossed it stays like that.

Surprised they didn't go down the road to Sports Direct to be honest, seem to be hitting a lot of sports shops.

I've just driven through the high street on my way home, most of the shops are closed already. There's a bunch old Bill milling around Nugent and down the road Curry's and PC World have boarded up their fronts. No sign of any mobs forming in Priory Gardens, despite what's being posted on Twitter. Seems like everywhere is prepared tonight.

My street is completely deserted already. Shops are all shut and there are literally no pedestrians to be seen. I can completely understand the "safety first" mentality, but it was fine the last few nights and I'm sure it'll be fine tonight, what with 16,000 police on duty and all.
