lol, i wanted to really push my skill. i wanted to see if i've improved or not.

hi newgrounds, i've been extra slow with this picture as i've been making a low budget film. Here is what i've got atm.

i'll add more dark colours to help bring out the character.

i was playing around with the image. it looks nice darker, but details have been lost.

wtf to the previous image, if this one has the same problem i'll kill a small child.

i'll just use the image before without the dark colours.....

It looks like it is a little blurred. Have you tried sharping the image or adding a slight filter to it? This could make it look a lot better.

i just love pen and paper at times.

It's getting better, the area round the chin has gone a little wrong though. You may need to redo that area. Other then that and the blurriness of the lines it's looking good :).

i did keep calling him oni-link, which isn't what he's called in the uk and america. i'm glad you can see it now.

over the next few days i'm going to finish the Link picture I've slowly worked though for ages. it's always in the back of my mind and is driving a little crazy.

looks pretty kool! though i think if you had put some darker lines on this guy it would have looked awesome. just my opinion though

i'll give that a try and see what it's like. i'm happy to know i'm getting better even if i'm a little slow to improve.

i can't seem to get my drawings to "work", i'm guessing it's a common problem for lots of people.

i've been away a bit. i call my new character "Crow" and i'll post him complete (the body and everything) when i've time. leave a comment to let me know what you think.

a little more practice

i always find it hard to review art and scout people, i'm not really sure where to start. lots of people lie and trace and it's just a pain....

well believe them until proven guilty i usually give someone the benefit of the doubt, you can take into consideration to do some investigation if you think they have traced and such and unscout them if you find any hard evidence. i honestly, suck at reviews and critique anything i say isn't of much help more of something i find i'll point out but the rest is just things to keep their spirits up and keep them motivated to get better.

by the way, your characters seem familiar, the 1st one reminds me of Snake From metal gear franchise and the other i do not recall. you should bring the eyes abit closer together though his eyes seems to be too far apart, besides that he seems fine(i must see the rest of this guy).

lol, i see what you mean there. metal gear solid is a TOP game.
