Need an animator - paid work! 2011-08-04 08:37:42 Reply

Hi there. Email at the bottom if you can't find it.

So basically, I'm on the "Director's Program" with Machinima.com, and I'm using the next couple of months to get some video production done. All of my productions are, and will be hosted online, with their network. Some of the projects I have in mind I would like animated, which is where you come in!

You'll be paid with a percentage cut of what the video makes, which is based on the number of views it generates. In order to be considered, you'll need to fire me an email at the address below.

And before I'm met with an outcry of "That's not an '@machinima.com' email adress so it must be fake hurr durr etc", which is what happened the last time I tried this, take a minute out to examine the content on their channel, and you will discover it's submitted by hundreds of different independent members of their community. I'm one of them. For proof, here is my YouTube channel, and there'll be a little message left for you in the 'Comments' box.

Here's the email: rtol@hotmail.co.uk. If you'd like to be considered, please include a sample of any prior work you've done, and we'll get chatting. I'll try to keep on top of answering any questions asked in the thread, too. Thanks for your time!

Why don't people just upload it to machinima themselves, I don't fully understand what you bring to the table.

I'm not here to get people on the Director's Program (which would be useless, I agree - no real necessity to bridge the gap at all), or anything like that. I'm an independent director who gets his stuff distributed by them, so I couldn't really do that anyway. I'm just looking for someone who is willing and able to animate for me.
