Hea there, im sorta new to posting and such, so i will just keep it sweet for ya....

This is my OFFICIAL art section on the Forums.

Any NEW art that i put up on my NORMAL page, i will post HERE too....but NOT old art.

To put it bluntly.....when i look at my artwork, i feal as if its not....."RIGHT" or "GOOD ENOUGH".
Even though its good.....this is with just about all my artwork.

Thx to another forum post i made called " Not So New, But New To The Forums " , i got some help
on this matter, but again.....any and/or all criticism and ect is both welcomed and accepted here.

its really really really really saturated, try toning it down. At-least with the background elements, you cant distinguish whats foreground, what's not as they've all got the same brightly saturated color on them. This could only work i guess if you were trying to simulate those glass drawings in churches - http://askpari.files.wordpress.com/2009/
12/glass18.jpg but even those would use cooler(as in not saturated) colors and the reason you see them as bright is because the sun is hitting them. But yeah try easing on your colorful tones for a start :)

Well, you see..... reason why its all bright is mainly because before i was kept being told to "make it brighter" because i use use less-bright-toned colors....and it would end up "too dark".

I suppose i need help finding the peace between light and dark when it comes to colors...mixing or not....

This is psychedelic. When you're on DMT, you can't distinguish what's foreground or background in real life :)

program called GIMP today....in which i finally made my first

Brighter as in, COLOR....or as in SHADE ?

For example.....i have 2 blues, one a baby blue....one a navy blue.

I could either use the baby blue.....a BRIGHTER COLOR of blue over the navy blue....
OR
I could use the navy blue because its what i really need....but then just make the shading and brightness of the picture BRIGHTER..... making it a BRIGHTER COLOR and/or DRAWING all-together...

Oh....um.....im asking this to anyone who reads this, btw.....mainly because its my #1 comment i ALWAYS get, and i just cant seem to understand what you all mean ( mainly is told this in Real Life
a TON )....

Hmmm.....Ok, i think i get what your saying then...

I just gained my new GIMP yesterday, so in my next drawing, ill try
doing things like THAT, and see where it takes it.....

Yea....the way i make the drawings go from BOO to AHHH in my eyes is kinda odd, but i can never
really get down a contrast that i LIKE.......so, i follow the method:

" Make the black, BLACK....Make the color, VISIBLE...."

So far, i think its been both my curse and praise....but i DO know its not the scanner, its me.
All the scanner does is make things like highlighter.....which is the SKIN on the girl BTW.....not
seem so bright. The rest is me mainly....

Not sure of any real methods to work with it....even on those drawings, its most of the time a
guess if i get it right or not....

....Then again.....i am just speaking about the drawing itself......when it comes to words, if i "DREW"
them up by hand like the rest of the drawing, then what you see now is the result most of
the time, be that i edit it or not....
