Only saw one 3D movie, and I hated it.
Seen any 3D movies recently?

To answer this question, I have never seen a 3D movie.

I hate how everyone jumps on the 3-D bandwagon, to make the extra money per ticket. If it's not filmed in 3D FOR the purpose of being 3D don't fucking make it 3D.
3D converted movies (meaning they were filmed normally, but converted to make it 3D) are shit. Total shit.
Movies filmed and MADE for 3D, like how to train your dragon, were fantastic in 3D. How to train your dragon was the last good 3D movie I've seen.

Every one of the movies that I've seen this year (And I've seen like 3 or 4) has been in 3D, and they were awesome. I love 3D, doesn't irritate my eyes.
Mighty good reason to put 3D to 1.1 setting on 3DS. 'Cuz I got that.

This. About 95% of 3D films are ones that were converted so they can make the ticket way more expensive. Plus they suck balls.
it's a GIMMICK.
they shoot terrible excuses for films in 3d to get money from dupes who really think 3d is cool or something.
take that retarded "My Bloody Valentine" movie for example. it was a massive flop one year, so they re-release it the next with 3d effects to cash in on equally retarded teenagers' ignorance.
3d is the gimmick to end all underhanded marketing gimmicks.
bunp
I saw Despicable Me in 3D and I thought it was disappointing (not the film itself but the 3D aspect of it). I didn't feel like things were literally "jumping out" at me from the screen, but it just felt like there was a little more depth to the visuals of the film. So nothing popped up from the screen, but I became very aware there was a background in the film and that got a bit off-putting at times... it was a bit disappointing as I expected a bit more. I hope that makes sense.
In my opinion, it's a gimmick that tries being revived every 20 or so years and lasts only about 5 of them.
Thor 3D was fucking epic.
3D movies are an addition to the surround sound as well as the explosive woofer.
A whole new way to get you to experience films on a whole new level. To feel as if you are part of the film. So quit whining and enjoy your shit.
