All I know is, I didn't like the sound of the first episode.

very odd, very very odd. this show has some of the best voice talent i ever found in a cartoon, it's one of the reasons i love this show so much... maybe raindow dash's voice is a bit wierd but that's all, you probebly didn't see other modern cartoons to tel the diffirence... (they suck)

Yeah that's the meme aspect of it. Others are just fans of the show and like it for that. Yeah I have a pony in my signature, but I also have the dragon Spike and that pony is Pinkie Pie, they're my favorite characters.

I would say ignore the meme aspect of it, but that would be impossible to do. It will die out eventually and those who like the show will still stand.
