But how is that a good thing? It may be a good thing because you like realism in the games you play, but it's not a point to be used that isn't based on opinion. You can dislike realism. If you really want to say one is better than the other you need a point which is impossible to find that no one can disagree with.

I do agree that it is my opinion, as I much prefer realism in games. I do also realise though that CoD appeals to a huge amount of people, way more than Battlefield. People can think what they like, I'm just gigving my opinion. (:

It's a good analogy because it exaggerates your point. That is the purpose of an analogy. If you can't wait 30 seconds to respawn and it causes you to think a game is incredibly boring, you're just very impatient.

So Battlefield is now like Call of Duty where everyone says, "get the first few games, they are the best". I don't remember people hating on the newer Battlefield games this much. It's ridiculous. It's like as soon as something gets popular it's shit.

Actually, a fanboy IS someone who only likes one game/series/franchise/ETC. Otherwise, the term is simply "Fan".

Yeah, someone devoted to something. Still doesn't mean they can't like something else. Fanboys don't only like one game and nothing else.

Though I am much more in favour of Battlefield than other FPS multiplayer games, I have to agree with the OP about the unlock system.

It's not the guns that are the main issue, but you start as a medic... without medical equipment. That is bloody annoying when you want to get stuck in healing the FUCK out of people.
