No, doing so would just make it worse. Salt, absorbs water, therefore the rest of the water in your system would end up absorbed anyway, it would just make you die of thirst even quicker.

No, the salt makes your mouth go dry and you'd probably be sick. The sick would then be with you forever, and your cell would always stink of vomit.
