Is it just me, or are all the horror movies nowadays about either a haunting or an exorcism?
I want them to bring back the slasher film genre. One guy running around slaughtering people mindlessly and being killed temporarily, only to return at a later day. now its just "true stories" about people getting possessed. no real plot. no memorable characters. its just bland.

Well the problem is that movie execs seem to think that slashers can only be fucking gory beyond belief now to be worth money. Which is a real shame.

Then as you said the other part is the haunting stuff. Because well, most people are afraid of the unknown so it's an easy seller and not usually costly to make.

Arachnophobia.

There's a good horror movie.

No gore, no hauntings, just FEAR.

I put the BS in BBS.
