Newgrounders on Beatport.com

there are lots of musicians on newgrounds... however only a tiny fraction I'd say less than 1% ever get signed to a label and get the chance to sell there music on the greatest music store in the world... beatport...

Now I can honestly only think of 3 artists that had there starts here and now proliferate their music all over the world but if you guys know any more please reply so I can spread the word of their success and try and get newgrounders that I admire famous. Plus i wanna download all there music like I did with these guys... honestly there is a reason they got signed.

xkore - dubstep
Flashburn (UGMI) - trance
trancecrafter - trance

these three are the only ones I am aware of that are even signed to a label, however i searched trancecrafter on beatport and nothing came up so maybe he submits under a different alias like flashburn does.

Me! Well...kind of. I'm signed to a label called EML Recordings. They put my stuff on Beatport whenever I finish something, but seeing as I'm going through a major writer's block slump, I have nothing to put on Beatport right now. I've got a song in the works, though.

Oh...and MrFijiWiji is also signed to EML with me. He's got a song on there called "Destroying My World."

Whats your alias on beatport? I searched for you but couldnt find anything....

and chronamut I found 3 songs by bounc3 on beatport but none by API or kingbastard.. do they submit under different alias' as well?

It's a list of some people from NG (all drum & bass) who have been signed, so you will probably be able to find most of them on beatport.

Right here, bro. I'm the missing link between NG and Beatport. xKore did a great job, Enzoa could've done a little better, but it was good enough to let him through.

though honestly, getting on the stores is only half the challenge. Selling it is a whole different story. It takes a lot of promoting is all I can say ;)
