Cool, cheers. Fusion Suit back view is half done..

Chunk of the right arm finished today. I'll post a picture once I've got it down to the cannon and shaded. Looking nice so far, and once I'm done I still have a couple small things I'd like to adjust and test out before animating the cycles. It's going along pretty smoothly though, I think.

Alright, i hope i can see the Suit soon, also you will have to make the back view of the Suit as Raziel is doing because on the animations of the cycles her backs appears...

Hey Guys the story will be posted here as soon as possible, but what i want to say here is that i didn't make it clear to you guys, but i've already say that this will be a triology and by that i mean that this project is about making 3 games that will complete the triology, sorry for not telling that before... sorry for not being a good leader, please forgive me guys. But i realy believe that we can make it, we have a nice Team formed by people from newgrounds and from TheSpritas and these are realy talented people, i know i've been not a good leader... but trust me guys we can do it.

3 games eh. this works out well for me since i'm in college to learn how to make games anyway lol.

but seriously I'm sure things will work out as long as the team works together.

a place called fingerlakes community college, Its in a state called New York here in america.pretty expensive though.

anyways i've just recently started attending this school a few months ago, so I havn't learned any coding or 3D stuff yet. just some basic stuff so far. won't learn the advanced stuff for a while now.

Just so you guys know DW's pretty puppy-eyed last posts were sparked from me going mental over the fact that I didnt know it was a trilogy he had in mind. But as I have just told him I will stick by the project to the end of at least THE FIRST GAME, but after that I dunno.. There have been a lot of problems with this project so far that have really knocked my enthusiasm, and I want a stop to them. I would like to know how yall feel about this project at the moment..

btw, DW sent me a huge message outlining the current story he has in mind (and by outlining I mean writing every single detail), I am about to change it into "perfect english" for want of a better phrase. Will post later. Heads up guys.

well if the end result of the game is awsome then every moment we spend on it(good or bad) was worth it. even major companies have thse kind of problems. you know how many times Nintendo restarted Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time(and alot of their other games for that matter.) My main point is, If a big company thats been around for years can still have problems yet deliver good games we can too right?

Thats my oppinion on the situation we have now.

Kind of missed the point (Whats this got to do with Nintendo??...), but I suppose you have a point. But its still hard.. As I said I will continue as normal for now. Nice one.

Samus (Wearing the Fusion Suit) is sent on a mission to a scarcely populated planet, and lands in the jungle. This mission is to investigate the detected activity of space Pirates and the possibility of a new source of Phazon. Prior to this the Galactic Federation disables her arm cannon, and Samus discovered she was sent there to die. (For unknown reasons at the moment) She is attacked by an indigenous creature (boss?), and she uses the Fusion Suit's "Metroid Teeth" as a melee weapon, and discovers doing so allows her to absorb the creatures energy, just as Metroids do. Some time after defeating the creature this way the Fusion Suit changes into the standard Varia Suit. Samus is now able to switch between the two suits at will, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages. (The Varia Suit has higher defence but cannot use the Metroid Teeth ability) From this point on discussion from the team is needed for continuation of the story/ganmeplay.

The general storyline of the three games delves deep into the mysteries of the ancient Chozo race, and we learn more about the Space Pirates. We learn that the extinction of the Chozo race was catalysed by a traitor among them, who lead another species into defeating the rest of the Chozo. The surviving Chozo made a last ditch effort to escape extinction by transporting themselves far away (to another dimension entirely?), and into our galaxy. They then passed on their knowledge, expertise and technology to the other surrounding intelligent life-forms.

"The Chozo Traitor" is one of four superior Chozo, the Sages. Each had their own particular field in which their capabilities were paramount. The traitor's expertise lay in the use of Phazon. (Chemistry) Another Sage was the master of technology, and developed Samus's original suit. The third Sage specialized in Biology, and he studies the natural powers of the Metroids. The Sage of Biology and the Sage of Technology later shared their knowledge and collaborated... The last Sage is the one who pioneered the success of the Chozo race, but he is dead.

So Samus learns of the Chozo Traitor and the Sage of Biology. As the Galactic Federation is now wanting her dead, she avoids them and she starts to be helped by the Biology Sage. Her explains to her how the Chozo made a last ditch effort to defeat the Traitor, and only the prophesized "Son of the Chozo Race" could use it and succeed. Obviously whoever made the prophecy missed the sign of a vagina, as it the "Son of Chozo" turned out to be Samus. (Must've been the shoulders) They constructed the ultimate weapon to be used to destroy the traitor, but they kept its use safe by scattering different components of it across (the planet? Galaxy?) Samus is then quested to find all the parts. The Biology Sage tells her that she has what it is needed to use the weapon successfully. (No pressure then..) Half of the weapon is in the possession of this Sage, and it is the "Omega Suit". The scattered parts form the other half of the weapon, which is the ultimate arm cannon. Its constructed from an element discovered by the Chozo on Zebes, aptly named Zebitite. This is a metal with limitless power when paired with the Omega suit. (infinite missiles?)

Samus learns that also scattered around are ultimate versions of each type of arm cannon beam. Each one is protected by some badass creature (bosses). These creatures each protect the type of beam which were harnessed from them. The Guardian of the Ultimate Plasma Beam is Ridley's dad (hellz yeah), the orginal of the species and much more powerful. (Tough boss lol..) By this point Samus has both the completed arm cannon and the Omega Suit (damn shes fast!..) The new arm cannon is partially damaged in the ensuing combat, but is able to regenerate.. Samus will also have an ability similar to "Hyper Mode" from Metroid Prime 3, this is due to the new suit.

The Omega suit is the brainchild of both the Sage of Biology and the Sage of Technology. This suit harnesses the power of Metroid tissue, which has to combine itself with Samus' current suit. The Metroid tissue is actually a form of life in itself, and in order to successfully meld with Samus' suit, she must contain existing Metroid energy. Basically in death Metroid's pass on their lifeforce, usually to give life to another metroid. However, the baby metroid which sacrificed itself to save Samus from Mother Brain passed its energy on to her, allowing her body to activate the suit. (Cool how this ties the prophecy together methinks) This metroid is now "reborn" as part of the suit, and can now communicate with Samus. (Great conversation methinks.. Metroid sense tingling anyone?) Samus also discovers that the traitor was behind Mother Brain's failure, (huh?) and he controlled the space pirates into trying to eliminate the remaining Chozo (especially the Sages) and Samus, as he knew they were a threat.
Samus now tries to enlist the help of the Galactic Federation, to help eliminate this common threat. Ideas for how this pans out are need at the mo..

As for Samus' Hyper Mode ability, this is allowed when she obtains the fully formed Omega Suit, and is made possible by the metroid within it (The same metroid that gave her the Hyper beam which she destroyed Mother Brain with.) So in this mode for a short time she fires hyper beams (The most powerful weapon in the game) but this uses her own life energy to do so. (Hey, who cares?..) (Maybe she is faster etc too??)

Well that's it.. And if you read all that then well done, if you UNDERSTOOD it all then hello God. All discussion and ideas are welcome, and I myself have some ideas to pitch to DW.. So watch this space, the story is subject to change.. Oh God....

From this part i have to discuss with the guys how this continuation will be... until that part under here

The Story is about the secrets of the Chozo and the space Pirate...well, the extinction of the Chozo was caused by a Traitor of the Chozo Race, that is also a Chozo that betrayed helping another Race of Inteligence living form to defeat the Chozo, then he became the commander of this Race... So the Chozo were forced to travel beyond their dimension, forced to travel to our dimension and then they started to teach technology and spread their knowledge to the other living forms... This Chozo Traitor is also one of the Four Chozo Sages, these Sages are This Traitor that acquired the Most knowledge in researches of Phazon, he mastered the secrets of Phazon (Chemistry), the other is the one Who developed Samus's Suit, "Master of Suit Technology" ( Mechanics), The other Sage is one that Mastered Biology and BioWeapon and he learned more about Metroid Behavior and much of its secrets and he also was a Good Friend of the other CHozo Sage that is master in mechanics and they shared some of their knowledge with each other, the last Sage is one Started the whole knowledge of the Chozo, but he is Dead. So reaches a part of the story that Samus discovers about the Traitor and the "Biology Sage" and as the Galact Federation is not helping her anymore she obtains help of this Sage, he explains her that the Chozo race made one laste attempt to defeat the Traitor... and only "The Son of the Chozo Race" Could handle it... and it is supposed to be Samus... They made a weapon but they Spread its parts through many places...then Samus starts a hunt to these parts... He says to her that she has what is needed to handle this weapon...
The Weapon is half with this Sage... The Omega Suit, the other parts are only pieces of the New ArmCannon... this armcannon is made by Zebetite, an element discovered on the planet Zebes by the Chozo when they lived there, this is a Metal that can create its own Materia... can regenerate... is the only that can use the ultimate gifts of the Chozo...
these gifts are the Normal beams... but ultimate... much more powerfull... All of them are hold by its Protectors... and these protectors are the same creatures from what they studied these powers... one of them is Ridley's father... the Guardian of the Ultimate Plasma Beam, this monster is in a stage of evolution that Ridley didn't reach and he is also the progenitor of its Race.... ( this one must be an ultimate battle) As the Beams are so strong they can destroy her normal armcannon so this new Zebetite Armcannon is partially destroyed but using the Omega Suit that is the source of the Zebetite armcannon's energy it just regenerate at every Shoot she fires... Also as in the Metroid Prime 3 there is the Hyper Mode... Samus will gain an ability Similar to that due to the Omega Suit...

The Omega Suit is the Fusion Between the Suit developed by the "Mechanical Sage" (the Suit that is already with Samus) and the Suit developed by the Biology... a Suit made by Metroid plasma Membrane... So this Sage activate the mechanic of the Suit that samus doesn't know to be compatible with the Metroid Membrane, but the membrane is also a living form developed by this Sage so to the Suit Gains life she needs a "Metroid Energy"... and Samus has this, remember when i said that he said to her that she had what is needed to handle the weapon... When a Metroid Dies its enerdy (soul) goes to another Metroid so it can reborn from this other metroid but if its energy goes to other living form it cannont reborn... So when the Super Metroid Died ( this metroid thought that Samus was its mother) its energy got to Samus... and as they both have this emotional bond this Metroid Cooperates with Samus, then its energy is trasnfered to the Membrane on the Omega Suit and it reborns in the Suit, so this metroid can now also comunicate with Samus.... When she gets all these pieces of the Weapon she can face the Traitor and its army in an epic battle...

Samus also discovers that The Traitor was behind the Mother Brains Failure and controled the space pirates to anihilate the Last Survivors of the Chozo race and Samus... because he knew that these remaining Chozo could be a Threat also because the Mechanic Sage was with them and because he knows that the "Son of the Chozo" (Samus) can also be a Threat to him.

While Samus gets this knowledge she then try to find a way to the galact federetion to return to her side and help her to confront the army of the Traitor... but i dunno how she is going to do that yet... you guys from newgrounds can discuss your ideas about that with me....

Tell me what you think about this base of the story...

Also i forgot to say... The Traitor have made experiences with Metroids too... with Phazon... then he accidentaly created the UnoTroid that scaped from him and travelled until the other dimension and later would be called... The Metroid Prime... and he has his own metroids with him, these metroids are different and more powerfull... So that fate and the Omega Suit is the base for the idea o f the name of the Game... Metroid Unleashed... what gives me an idea... on the second game of the Triology the traitor releases some metroids and send to our dimension ... these metroids spread themselves ... so...they are Unleashed here... so Samus can tell the source of this Unleashed Attack of metroids to the galact federation.. and the federation decides to be at Samus's side again...

Yeh man, its a little complicated and a bit hard to swallow, especially if you dont know much about metroid like me. N I dunno how other fans of the series will react to it, but I think its really good man.

its a good story but kind of confusing.
I mean I havn't played ever metroid(only MP 1, 2, hunters, and oher M) but the main thing that confuses me is this traitor dude. from what i know the chozos exrinction was caused by a meteor made of phazon crashing tinto their planet and poisoning there land, and that metroid prime was made by the space pirates trying to feed metroids with phazon.

then again if you say that the traitor left the planet to study phazon then years later used his mastery of phazon to send a phazon meteor towards the chozo homeworld to destroy them, and then found a way to control mother brain wich in turn let him control te space pirates, well to me that would make a little bit more sense.

but thats just me, lets see what the others think.

hey dude... the metroid prime wasn't created by the space pirates... and also that meteor didn't attack their planet, it attacked Tallon IV, a planet which they lived but not as their homeworld... aparently in the lore they say "with the meteor came a creature and it is so powerfull that we decided to lock it" they were refering to the metroid prime.... but in fact, did you liked it?

I think dio has come up with a very good plot point there, saying it was the traitor who created the meteor and sent it to crash on the planet. Also about either controlling mother brain or being allied with it. What is mother brain anyway? I thought he maybe the traitor couldve either stolen it from the biology sage or used his shared knowledge to create it. Just spitballin..

Im still anxious about the two suits being very different. In reality Joes will probably look better than mine. If im honest having two people design different parts of the same thing is just ridiculous...

Yeh, but in my opinion it would be even cooler if we just eluded to it, like you find some plans/tests of the traitor that show the meteor and the planet.

Yeah, i liked your idea, but we could do both... in the metroid Prime series as Samus goes on her mission she discovers what happened but also read the plans of the enemies by scaning their lores with her scan visor... sometimes you find some computers and than you can "scan" and read their data... most of them show the point of view of the enemies and even of the allies, some of them tell the story of other races... there's a lot of features that the scan visor can do... xP

Well... about the back view, it will have a lot of changes man... some parts are incoherent to the original suit... also her buttocks cannon stay as the way they are right now... i will try to re-draw some parts to tell you where the suit's back view isn't good... sorry, as i already sent all the material about the suit i had, i cant just say what it needs... i can point them on a file and try to show you how it may look. But...Well done Raz. ^^

I hope you like the changes Raz... i couldn't put any shade too... i dunno how to do it anyway hehe.

I dont think doing both would be good.. in games stuff is either explicit, or you make it so the fans have to work it out for themselves, and they can talk to people about it. I think that is way cooler.

As for the suit back view, telling me stuff instead of letting me guess would really help.. Remember you didnt send me much of the back view and you said I could come up with my own design to some extent. If you mean some parts arent coherent to MY FRONT VIEW, let me just say I worked hard so that it was. If you mean its not coherent to the original design from the metroid series, well no it isnt, and neither is the front view. She may be in a slightly different standing position, but her features remain the same. I only noticed you have changed the helmet area. But the shape you have made the helmet is impossible from the front view. Plus I dont like it anyway. I am happy with the other changes though.
