People Being Evasive of Facebook

So this girl on Facebook that I don't know keeps "liking" pictures of me and viewing my profile. But when I go to send her a friend request she sends me a message that says "umm... hi there?" like I'm the one that was bothering her.

This has happened to me before, am I the only one that has this problem? Do I have a cyberstalker or am I dealing with an overly cautious person? If they don't want to add me as a friend or meet me IRL why do they keep going to my profile? I need answers!

Friends of friends, sounds like. They go to profiles and think they can like whatever without and think they can do it without getting attention. In truth, they can. But I see pointless things on Facebook. It doesn't help me keep in contact with anybody, really. Since I only ever talk to one or two people there regularly.

I don't know. I thought it was odd that she kept looking at pictures that were just of me by myself since she doesn't know who I am.

Since most people have like 400 friends on Facebook I didn't think that it would be that odd to send her a friend request. It doesn't mean that I want to be her friend I'm just curious because I don't even know who it is.

I explained why I sent her a friend request, but no answer.

To be more specific, these pictures had only me in them, no one else. Most of them were old with no comments on them. That's why I am so perplexed.

Probably best to send a comment with the friend invite, some people don't like a blank invite. If she is still questioning you after you clearly say who you are and she put you on a picture etc, then just forget about it let her stay being paranoid.
