Redesign account options?

It would be pretty nice, although the admins can already do that for you. Would be nice to have it readily available though, since the admins are so swamped.

No, that's a huge security issue. If someone gained access to your account they could change your name and it's lost, they could deactivate it and it's lost, they could delete it and it's lost.

If someone got access to your account now they can't really do anything except get it banned, which you can easily get lifted.

Which is why if implemented, the staff would be smart enough to have a double or triple-redundant check. Send an email to confirm, and the account sits for about a week or so before deletion.
