That is your opinion. Not fact. Gross is NOT a fact-based state, it is an OPINION. It may be fact that somebody could feel disgusted as a result of something, but it is only a fact that they have that OPINION.
The only reason that I am not generally disgusted with everybody, even though I do think that all people are gross, is that I AM a person. Therefore, I'm gross enough to not care that I'm amongst others and their grossness. If all people are gross, then my assertion is that I am also gross. And no matter what I do, I will always be this flesh and blood creature that vomits, and sprays piss and shit into toilets, or all over the place, until I die.
And if that repulses you, you can say that it's true that you feel all people are gross. However, since these things do not repulse ME (for instance), and certainly don't repulse all people, you cannot say that people are gross as an inherent thing that people are.
This is an immutable property of logic. If there is one case where a premise for your conclusion is not true, your conclusion cannot include 'always' in it. It can only include 'some' or 'one'. You are trying to say that because the actions you describe are inherently disgusting, all people are gross. However, there is no such thing as 'inherently disgusting'. Disgust is a reaction that has evolved to prevent people from interacting with things that are likely to cause them to become ill or die from disease, parasites, fungi, or what-have-you.
I'm not saying any of this makes people more or less respectable, lovable, charitable, or whatever. I'm not saying it makes them any less evil, corrupt, stupid, or horrible either.
Don't care about that, I'm responding only to your incorrect assertion that people are 'gross' inherently.
Many of you think just because I'm calling you all gross, that I'm putting you down. You guys fail to realize that I'm saying it about myself too.
At least you said 'many' here, because this is not the case with my argument.
I don't know why everyone doesn't think so. Can't you smell some of the things that humans excrete? Can't you see some of those same things? We can be pretty much offensive to all 5 senses. Like if I hear some blowing their nose, or farting or shitting while I'm eating. If I accidentally sat down into a pile of puke at an amusement park. If someone blows a snot into my hamburger at McDonald's.
So, it seems that your argument is NOT 'all people are inherently gross' but instead "all people are capable of doing something gross."
People are fuckling gross. All of them. All of them will do something gross in their lives, therefore, all of them are gross. Besides, they can't help many of the gross things they do. They are defined by being gross. How many don't wash their hands after taking a shit? How many miss with the toilet paper on the up-swipe when cleaning their asshole and get it on their finger, and then go around touching things.
None of this matters to the assertion that people ARE gross. To say such a thing, you have to prove that ALL people do ALL of these things ALWAYS. Or even prove that ALL people do ONE of these things ONE time. Unfortunately, you cannot. Or, if you can, you have to contend with the fact that not all people find the same things disgusting as you. For instance: some dude with a scat fetish is probably secretly intrigued by the fact that there could be minute particles of people-shit on the door handle.
How many of you personally have done something gross that you are not going to confess because it would prove my point?
None of those anecdotes would prove your point, because your point is a logical fallacy. If ONE person does not find ALL people disgusting, you can't say "ALL PEOPLE ARE DISGUSTING" (because it is short form for ALL PEOPLE find ALL PEOPLE disgusting... disgust requires both a disgusted party and a disgusting party). At best, you can say "SOME PEOPLE find ALL PEOPLE disgusting" (which I would not disagree with) and/or "ONE PERSON finds ALL PEOPLE disgusting" (which is definitely true) and/or "SOME PEOPLE find SOME PEOPLE disgusting" (which is, again, obviously true).
You have argued well for EVERY other version of your argument except the case where 'all people' find 'all people' disgusting, which is the case that does not exist. If you are saying that it SHOULD be that way, that is a different argument (and I probably wouldn't have bothered responding to the topic in that case).

Grossness is something created by humans, there is no way to measure it as it is just a word based on opinion.
