A design your own tshirt website? 2011-07-20 04:10:52 Reply

I presented this question to the general forum the other day, but was left without a satisfying answer.

here

one person told me to go to zazzle.com and the format available for a design was too small.

I figured the art inclined part of ng will be able to point me in the direction of a good website that will allow me to make my own shirts.

thanks much
-Joe

I got a shirt printed viaSpreadshirt; good quality print, decent size. If you set up a shop and then sell your shirt to yourself you can get it cheaper than if you just order it.

brilliant dude thank you thank you thank you

when they sent you the shirt what did the design feel like? meaning, was it brittle, sticky, peel?
also, cant they then sell your design?

and finally: im working on a self portrait for your collab friend.

I used flockprint, which allows you to use any color you want as well as gradients and stuff, however solid areas of color arent really solid (see pic); I was really impressed by the quality. I must have worn and washed it a couple dozen times now, and flock prints sometimes tend to let loose or break, but this one hasnt.

also, cant they then sell your design?

I dont think they can, not sure though. If you make a shop for yourself, you can set the price for your shirts. Spreadshirt will then take a fixed amount of that (regardless of the prize) for manufacturing and shipping etc.
I'm not entirely sure though, you'd have to check.

Awesome!
