I illustrated some troubling times with my longest relationship in some of my oldest news blogs. Truth is, maintaining a relationship is an expensive, time-consuming, sacrificing process. At the moment, I don't have stable income, and I'm using my grandmother's inheritence money to fund flight school so I can gain a Private pilot's license and instrument rating. From there, I may be joining the Army in hopes of becoming a Warrant Officer helicopter pilot, or at the very least a Blackhawk/Apache mechanic and work my way up into the WOFT so I can take over as a pilot.

Starting a relationship now would just get in the way. The time I have I need to spend on my elderly father, producing more art and animations before I even consider a recruiter, and flight time. She would really have to be something special for me to focus my attention into her. I'm not too crazy about my looks, but get the biker jacket on me and a kilt beneath me, and I have no problem talking to ladies local to Dallas. It's a confidence issue...I have that to a degree, but I lack the real desire because I understand what kind of sacrifice I'd be making in my lifestyle to that.

I've been down the road of dramatic relationships with insecure bitches, and I've honestly had my fill of that. Last thing I need is to knock up someone I don't care for, so I wrap it up, and hunt for non-committal intimacies at most. It's cheaper, it fulfills my needs, and I walk away back into my controlled environment. I have plenty of time to find that special, nerdy, dream girl that's somewhere out there. I'm comfortable with the wait while I lay the groundwork to become the man I'd be proud to be. For her, for me, for us.

My previous excuse was that im never in town long enough for any girlfriend to be comfortable with. But i've recently decided im not going anywhere and concentrating on animating and stuff so I might actually persue a love life finally now that I'll finally be in town for long stretches. Maybe ill even settle down.

Because most of the girls I meet that aren't autistic, grossly overweight, or some other non 'see pastable' physical feature, they tend to not go after a nice honest guy like me.

Note I am not shallow by any means, but any person guy or girl that say looks don't matter is a fucking moron who needs a good lesson in life. Looks -do- matter but they are not everything by any stretch of the mind.

The ones that do show a level on interest in me, and I am enjoying the company of, end up cock teasing me then running off with another girl, or whatever.

That and I'm Bi, and most guys are 10x easier than any girl.

Meh, just not really interested in getting a relationship right now. I've had relationships in the past but none of them really worked out. I'm more interested in my education, talking to my brosephs on skype and gaming. Fuck paying for someone who you know will dump you in the future and investing all that time that's going to be wasted anyway.

I don't have a girlfriend because I'm fat, ugly, bad with people, and I don't have the kind of money that would tempt a girl to overlook those negative traits. But hey, that lack of money is the main reason I don't want a girlfriend at this point: I'm broke, so I wouldn't have the resources to perform all necessary relationship actions anyway, and even if I did have money, there's a million other things that come before a romantic relationship on which I'd need to spend it.
