Depends on how bad the handicap is. Did she lose her foot and now she has a prosthetic foot or something? Or did she get sever trauma to the brain and now she is incapable of going to the bathroom by herself?

Maybe I'm not man enough to stay with a woman no matter what, but I am man enough to admit there's a line she can cross. It's completely out of her hands what happens to her, but it's not out of my hands what happens to me. Even if everyone calls me a dick, even if she kills herself, even if my parents disown me, I won't face regret because there is none to be had. If something happens that causes a real gap in our relationship then she doesn't deserve a man that will judge her for something like that, and she doesn't deserve me.

I wouldn't be able to say honestly, but I have a friend who I met through baseball who walks with crutches now. We still hang out and talk, even though baseball and video games are really the only thing we have in common.
