Hot damn, jumping out of a plane sounds fun.
I've always wanted to do this, but I don't want to do it strapped to someone else. So I'm intending on doing an AFF (Accelerated free fall course), where after you become a registered solo skydiver.
This means I can skydive around the world without instructors... and in the UK it costs about £30 ($45US) per jump, in comparison to the normal £180($300) you'd have to pay.
The whole thing costs about £1400, which includes full training, the certificate and 18 jumps in the process (all solo).
So, anybody else been skydiving or want to do it? Would you skydive, etc.

Record footage of your jumps and share it with the NG community, and maybe make a mini action sequence while your in the plane and pretend that someone is trying to kill you so they push you out the plane. =)

It's painfully expensive to record skydiving. I might look into doing it once I've invested in my own gear after getting my AFF.
I'm sure I'll splash out after I've got my license and get someone to film me.
