What is your favorite city in Canada?

I've only been to Vancouver International Airport, and I may visit Vancouver later this year or sometime next year. We saw the scenery of the Vancouver area from the airport and the plane and it was very pretty. I loved the mountains.

Like San Francisco or LA, there are a lot of Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Japanese, and Korean immigrants to Vancouver and some of them looked very happy to be inside the airport about to settle down and live or study in Vancouver. I'm sure they were happy to be surrounded by great scenery and happy people.

Montreal, because that's where I'll be living for the next 3 or 4 years and from the first year I've been living there it's amazing. Maybe it's just because I'm a University student but I've been having the time of my life.

Vancouver would be a close second though, I'm going to be near there in about a month, but this time I'm hoping to get into the city more than the previous times. It seems like a very forward thinking city and I really like the scenery.

Although, Toronto get's bonus points because I have a lot of friends there... So perhaps a tie between Vancouver and Toronto...

Edmonton was always one of my favourite cities. I always had a great time going there as a kid. I may be going there again at some point during this summer, so we'll see if it still has it's novelty. That'd probably the 3rd favourite though.

Vancouver would be the 2nd, I went there a number of years ago during the big fireworks festival, and was considering going again this year actually - But that is not happening anymore. Anyway, it's a beautiful city. Every single thing about it, even East Hasting, where all the street trash and drug addicts are - It's all beautiful.

And the first, Saskatoon.

I know if you know of the city you're probably thinking wtf, but I know good people there, and I just like the city. I wanna live there.

Yeah, whatever.

Really? Well I guess some things about ghettos or skid rows are beautiful, haha.

Have you ever been to Eastern Canada, like Ontario? Anything interesting about it? I have a distant relative living in Toronto.

Jesus Christ do you ever stop rambling about that? I mean, yeah, being proud of your heritage is cool and all, but mentioning it in every post is annoying.

Anyways, I've never been to Canada, so I wouldn't know.

I've never been to Canada and therefore have no reason to pick a favorite Canadian city.

Not dissing it, probably is a cool place, but it just seems so middle-of-nowhere. Takes forever to drive to another big city which is kinda lame.

You're right, I WTF'ed. That's where some of my family is, but I really don't like going there. Nothing to really do if you don't have friends there... And for some reason I find it impossible to sleep there, always end up rolling around all night. Also, absolutely no internet at my grandmas house, which is where we always stay.
