I beg do differ, since we don't search the best soundtrack, but are supposed to state our own favourite soundtrack.

Kill Bill vol. 1 and Goodfellas had the best soundtracks ever. Kill Bill had the best original music, and Goodfellas had the best choice of covers. It's hard to decide between them.

Clint Mansell is a genius. The Fountain soundtrack was wonderful
The Dark Knight, it's just an all around terrific film, the soundtrack never fails to get me on the edge of my seat.
Would the songs from school of rock count as soundtracks? Because I enjoyed most of those songs a lot
No mention of Matrix?
Some of the best electronic music is featured there.
Gawd I miss those days.
Oh, should have mentioned Resident Evil 4 Aftermath. Tomandandy were brilliant.
Where the Wild Things Are has the best sountrack by Karen O.
Please disregard all of my pre-2013 posts. I was young and borderline retarded.

No.
The Lion King, Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast soundtracks.
I would say this, because the song "This World is Something New to Me", the third track on there, features many of my favorite musical acts and others voicing newborns in a hospital delivery room (my favorite Big-Lipped Alligator Moment that the Nostalgia Critic never mentioned!). It is also my favorite movie soundtrack because it was the first album I ever bought with my own money!
