If time machines will exist in the future, then why hasn't anyone come back to this present time? It would happen if there was a time machine, so why hasn't anybody traveled back in time yet?

Oh, I have another theory. Everyone has an ancestor from the future. A few people came back in time, had babies, and then left them here. That's where Adam and Eve came from. Well, actually I heard some people make some theories about that. It's been said that it might be that a time machine could only travel in time backward until the time it was built. It was this really cool documentary I saw in school one time. They also said that it might be that people from the future wear invisibility cloaks or something (hey, time travel would be real) or maybe time travellers are really Bigfoot or something.

How do you know someone "hasn't" come back from the future and is keeping it a secret?

Anyways: Time Machines are better off not existing. They would be incredibly abused. For ex: knowing what the lottery numbers are going to be so you can win, changing the past. One little change in the past would probably fuck everything up and cause discombobulation in alternate timelines, or Time streams and all the complicated shit.

Besides, we already have a time machine. It's called outer space. For ex: If you took a telescope, and looked at the planet Jupiter, you are looking at how it was 1 year ago because Jupiter is one light year away.

Maybe this point in time that we're experiencing is the farthest point in time in the entire time line of existance; so we would be the first ones to experience time travel then WE would go back in time to visit ourselves in the past and.....

One theory is that time travel is possible but you have to open a "portal" of sorts. Then after this portal is opened then you can freely move from anytime past when the portal was created to the future.

time machines make no sence since there is no such thing as time, it is just a measurement. And even if it wasn't what would happen if you back in time 10 seconds ago. would It just reverse i would i be seeing my self typing this while in the closet, think about it guys.
