Messy Hand Writing

Ever since grade 1 friends , teachers and family have made fun if my god awful wrting/printing skills. I tried to improve but it's one of those skills that just never came to be for me.

Anyone else have naturally ugly writing?

Mines is a mess if I'm not interested in what I'm writing, otherwise it's neat.

They say that really messy handwriting is the sign of a genius, but I don't trust them.

If I'm in a hurry to write something it will be messy. If I actually take the time it becomes less crappy.

Yes, my hand writing is awful, and I am not able to make it better, when I write quickly, it looks like a mess, when I write slowly, it looks even worse.

My writing was bad enough that in elementary school I had to do these handwriting classes where all the kids with bad handwriting just had to copy sentences for 30 minutes. I don't think the handwriting classes helped much. It seemed like every few years, my handwriting would get a little better. My handwriting is a lot better than it used to be, it's still pretty sloppy compared to most others, but it's at least legible.

My print is nothing special, but my cursive, OMG, my cursive. I get compliments all the time on how good my cursive is. Sometimes after writing a G, L, F or D in cursive, I stop to admire the masterful calligraphy. Jesus Christ, you don't even know

I'll raise you a tablet and decent handwriting skills.

I'm actually quite proud of my handwriting. It's not nearly as fancy as calligraphy, but it's serviceable and definitely legible and I've developed several styles of writing I can switch between on the fly. I personally prefer my bubblish writing style, though.

Printing, my writing is legible to others.

Cursive, however, I am usually the only one who can decode it. I am in love with my signature though, its messy but I like the way it looks.

I does. my school never cared about my writing because they could read it despite how bad it was.
