I think it will, I've heard anyway.
You added me!

That's why I think Google+ will conquer in the Social Networking war. Already it has better privacy than Facebook. Facebook you an hide it from the public sure, but only "Friends" and "Friends of Friends" can see it when it's hidden. Depending on what you choose as the setting.
That itself is ridiculous, Google definitely has my favor right now.
Yeah, whatever.

Also, as of today (I believe) you can now "+1" things on certain websites that have the feature.
Here's a screencap
Yeah, whatever.

Cheers for the invite EpicFail, I'm online. Still trying to figure it all out. Photo albums I create seem to keep disappearing.

I've been playing around with Google+ for a few days now and I can already tell it will overtake Facebook just as Facebook overtook Myspace.
i guess mr zuckerberg was correct when he said facebook is the new myspace durr hurrrrr
I am really liking the circles and how you can dictate what each circle sees of your profile. That level of privacy alone is enough to make Google+ superior to Facebook because Facebook privacy is just well, rather binary.
hey

Yup, it's just a great idea. I have a feeling that many teenagers will not want to switch over to Google+ once it becomes public, but once it takes out Facebook, as Facebook did with Myspace, they will not hesitate. All it takes is a few people. I'm sure they don't even care about the privacy shit, most of them.
But it's definitely a huge factor in the social networking trend and business, Google+ is just brilliant.
Yeah, whatever.

It is missing a lot of peripheral things Facebook has at the moment though, they might be added still but stuff like events, pages, all that. It's really just a barebones social network, all it does is socialising, no extra bullshit.

I'd say give it time, I'm sure Google is on top of that.
The main issue is that they can't just take everything that Facebook has, make it look different and call it their own. Otherwise it's simply a Facebook clone. They need to be smart about it and go about doing things in a different way.
Google is a huge corporation, much bigger than Facebook. My guess is Google will have a feature where things will automatically be added on a sort of "Events" thing, it will search daily and gather things happening from your surrounding area and have them insantly added to Google+. While also allowing people to create their own events.
Just a theory, but I see it happening.
Yeah, whatever.

I just got all my stuff set up on Google+. It certainly looks promising. Here... or at least I hope, is my profile. Not sure if it'll work or not, but hey if it does great. Also, yes that is a minecraft picture as my profile... I don't have any recent, or decent quality pictures of myself on my computer.. I'll change it later.
Anyway, feel free to add me, I want to start filling up my Newgrounds Circle :D.
Oh, I'm in agreement with EpicFail, if Google just copied exactly how things are done in facebook it wouldn't do them any good, but if they take those ideas and expand upon them to make them 10x better... Then Google has something. Besides Google+ is only in Beta, there is PLENTY of room for growth in the future.
Sometimes the best solution is, simply, a swift kick in the ass.

It might be a little confusing at first, it was for me at least. That was until I sobered up.
One major thing that Google+ has that Facebook doesn't is the ability to share posts with only certain "circles".
This means you can post something Newgrounds related, so to say, and only show it to people in your "Newgrounds Circle". Or, if you have something you want to share with only family members, you can post it and choose to only share that post with the "Family Circle".
There's a big privacy step right there that Google+ has beaten Facebook in. Next to that, you can also have "Huddles". This is a feature I haven't tried yet, but apparently it is like a video chat. I'd assume that there is also text and you can have a big group of friends on webcam talking with one another. Quite a big step for Social Networking I'd say.
I'm sure there is more, but nothing really that I have discovered yet, remember that it is only in beta.
Yeah, whatever.

I wish you could set it so it only shows the friends of yours friends that are in the same circle as you are in.
So people in my Newgrounds circle could only see my Newgrounds friends, IRL friends could only see my IRL friends, etc.

Does that mean 5,000 circles, or 5,000 people in a circle?
* Revamped minor UI change
I hope they make the photo view better. They should make it like the old facebook view.

I would hope it means 5,000 people in a circle. Because 5,000 circles is insanity.
Yeah, whatever.

Sure does.
So it's been quite some time now... What do you all think of Google+?
My opinion on it is still the same as before for the most part, I am definitely interested to see what Google will do with it, as the company that they are I can only imagine that they have many things in mind to make it the most successful social network around.
I will continue using Facebook however, just because for the time being Google+ seems to be quite underrated, I'm sure once it is out of testing/beta and becomes more and more recognized it will be as popular as Facebook though.
Once that happens, bye bye Facebook for me. I just can't leave Facebook right now however, just because of women.. I'm sure you all can understand that. But hell, Google+ seems to be running a lot smoother and has more potential to be more successful and unique than Facebook..
We'll see what happens I suppose!
Yeah, whatever.

I'm really liking the +1 feature at the minute. I can see it becoming very popular when Google+ takes off.
Although Facebook and Twitter have similar things (share with friends and retweet), I prefer Google's stab at it. Rather than posting everything you +1 to your feed, it posts them all to a separate page. That means you can post say ten things you like within a couple of hours and not clog up the updates feed. You've got a running list of everything you like online and you can check other peoples lists to find stuff that interests you.
One thing I would like is a button or something to share certain items you've +1'd on your updates feed.
Hopefully as many sites will include it as they do the facebook and twitter buttons (and I can't see why they wouldn't). Right now it's only implemented sparingly around the web. Mainstream is the next step!

Have you guys deleted a circle yet? There's a pretty neat animation when you do. The circle gets big and then rolls away off the screen lol.
Yeah, whatever.

I'll join, I just don't want to post my profile because of employment reasons and such >_>
Happy to invite/discuss everything here, though.
Also, while I'm here, I'll ask a question: For those of you using it on a HTC/Android device, have any of you found any use for the 'Incoming' screen?

Well, i'm certainly enjoying it. Has anyone tried the hangout feature yet? I dont have a webcam, but it certainly seems like a nice touch.
