What's your opinion of these accounts? In case you're not familiar with them, they basically upload a dress-up game, point-and-click, or some other simple flash game every night. They're the same game, but with different artwork. As far as flash submissions go, they're pretty decent. What you might expect from a guy who is good at art, but is still just learning to use flash. But that's not the case. They put these out every night almost. These accounts have several hundred submissions like this, with no hint of improvement or effort.

Personally, I blam these the second I see them. The flash portal, to me, is a place where original movies and games are placed, so that they can be admired by people. Flashes like Tarboy and Alight. Great works of art. It is also a place for beginners to showcase their progress, and get constructive feedback and criticism. It's not a place for some people to dump the half-assed game that they happened to shit out that day.

I agree! The Flash portal should be where one skill should be harnessed and develop.

newgrounds is the place where you can show your skills
so, I think that there should be only original games and movies (any kind of)

I don't really have a strong opinion about them to be honest. I like the idea of a clean portal full of original and decent works but people will just keep saving them for the cheap save points the same with all the spam animations. I bet at least a few people with the Super Commander rank have voted five on spam animations...personally I don't but that's just me.

Anyway I think if its really such a big deal to people they should be more focused on all the accumulating hundreds and hundreds of spam animations on the site (not that I think they are much of a problem myself either.)

I personally dislike how often these kinds of accounts submit cookie-cutter games to the portal. I wish they'd stop entirely.

If I didn't know better I'd assume they're likely using multiple cookie-cutter games like this to accumulate revenue.

I mean, when you think about it, if you want to generate a good flow of revenue, you'd have to emphasize the quantity over the quality.

I vote to pass these because I feel like there are people who could enjoy them. I base my whole blam and protect system off of the question "would anybody like to watch/play this" and if the answer is yes I save it. Sure, the games seem cookie-cutterish. But on their own they are 3.00 flash.

yea, igirlsgames and those kind of cookie cutter accounts. The way I see it is they made a whole lot of accounts to get around the 2 uploads per day limit.

They do it to advertise their website, and for no other reason.

It's not a big deal to me, as they never get a high enough score to get any awards..so they just sink into the portal.

They get a 0 from me every time I see them upload something, I don't think those games should be spammed on here and advertised on here. They're just using the most successful flash website to spread their name, apparently it's working because we recognize them as soon as we see them. However, it isn't good recognition I'd suppose. I hate that shit on here.
