* You have until 11:59:59 PM, Eastern Standard Time, on August 4th to complete your submissions. Submissions taken after the deadline are subject to the late penalties listed below.
* Entries must fit the theme above to both level the playing field and ensure that entries were not previously created.
* The animation must be no shorter than 30 seconds and no longer than 10 minutes.
* The animation must be in flash format. Other mediums are allowed (but not beneficial to the animator's time constraints), but the final product must be produced in flash and published on NewGrounds.
* Excess nudity, profanity, and other things of profane nature are not allowed. (It should not have a "Mature" rating.)
* Absolutely NO copyright material is allowed without permission. If you use copyrighted music or other material in your animation, you MUST get the permission of the original creator of that material.
* If you would like to parody, then use similar names instead of the real names - ie. "Smears" instead of "Sears". No copyrighted material whatsoever.
* The Audio portal is a great source for music, just be sure to get permission to use it for this contest!
* Any entry in violation of these rules will be disqualified.

Hey now! Lets not sling mud here! Truth be told, Fungasm was incredibly good! That definitely was the narrowest margin I think I've ever won by. For a long while I was thoroughly convinced I lost. If I had done just one thing different, I'm sure he would've gone on. I'm definitely not better than him in any way, just different. I thoroughly applaud your skill Fungasm!

Now I just hope that I can please Fungasm's fan base as much as he does so that I don't receive comments like the one above. Its not that I don't believe Fungasm should've moved on, its that I want to be as famous as him so people will like me proceeding! lol

And productive you WERE man! I'd bro fist you if I could, you definitely got some great Demo Reel material there! I especially love the scene from your last entry where he's in court and he's explaining himself. The way he's moving his arms and bobbing slightly just looks so fantastic! Bravo man, keep up the awesomeness!

Also It doesn't matter if a flash has voice or not. It can be equally as well done or better. Ever see "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" in Fantasia? In fact, most of all early animation that had sound that ran on one track and timed to music.

The reason I believe I lost, is because I have a habit of getting very lazy. Which is what happened, and it affected the quality of my submission. especially towards the end where I skipped a lot of frames and reused animated scenes. On top of that, Dave's was well animated and good all around. <:

Why do people keep posting and complaining about the outcome?

Both entries did great! I was really into knowing who would actually win, and yeah, they are very different, neither is better than the other one.

It certainly is! I think I have a few ideas on how to INTERPRET this theme lol but none as to what Ill actually do with it >.>

I think I may have a winner. It will be like nothing I've done before... well... it will be a sequel to Vic Aces, but the way it gets pulled off will be interesting. We'll see what happens!

Wonderful! lol On my end, I'm juggling about 10 ideas, but I think Ill just start writing and see what sticks. So far the biggest script I have is for a Children's Cartoon-esque thing. And yes, it would be a straight up legit Children's Cartoon, not parodying one for adults or anything. The idea I have is really cute, and my dad always said I should make an animation my autistic brother would enjoy, so I think I may take this opportunity to do that ^^

Indeed I do! I have 3 brothers. Greg is the oldest, he's not really into art or anything, then Danny who's autistic, then me, then my Twin Brother who was born 30 minutes after me who's a CG Animator.
