This was no ordinary video game, it was LITERALLY a video game--as in, you play a VHS tape (or watch the TV show) and fire this... ship/gun thing at your TV and... that's pretty much it, because the thing barely, if ever, worked right.
It was a live action show combined with an expensive toy ship/gun/thing, marketed as a video game of sorts and it was impossibly disappointing.

The gameplay. All you do is move quickly and try to avoid obstacles, get rings, and traverse through impossible hidden passages all within the .02 second that they appear on the screen. It's pretty ridiculous.

I've seen all the AVGN episodes, and this is one of the few games I've played that he has reviewed. It is literally one of the worst games I've ever played. From the cryptic riddles to the awful fucking control to the tedious combat, its like someone took a cum on a barf. I can't play it for more then five minutes without kicking an endangered animal.
Any shovelware game for the wii is the worst.

Don't kill me for saying it, Bad Company 2, unlike-able characters, shit ton of swearing (don't like games that drop the f-bomb constantly, except Bulletstorn), and bad multiplayer. I like Homefront better then BC2.

That was an amazing game... of course the only reason why was because I would go over some chicks house and get a blowy while her little brother played that game cause I bought it for him. Maybe it did suck...

As someone who owns a copy of that game, I can safely say it was not only frustrating to control, but it seemed to be pretty damn hard as well. My brothers would always play the arena mode over the story mode because of that fact.
It didn't look bad, and it was an alright premise for a video game, but as with most movie tie ins, it somehow got fucked up in the pipe, and most of the Game Nerd's criticisms hold up, ESPECIALLY about the controls.

I thought this was supposed to be games that were famously bashed by everyone, and were pretty much considered by most to be the worse games of ALL time, not "games I didn't really like".

Yea, the first Bad Company was full of character and tried to be a little different. With the second one, they made it serious so they could try to tackle Call of Doody. The multiplayer was fun, in my opinion.

I disagree with you on Final Fantasy 7 and 10. 10 may have been linear as hell, but the story was tolerable. 7 hasn't aged well, and I think we can ALL admit that for a fact.
But if you MUST know what the worst game EVER is, it would be something by the name of Call of Duty Modern Warfare. All of them are crap. Same generic realistic modern settings as every other shooter out there. I don't care how great the graphics are (which they're not), I want to play games to ESCAPE reality; not live it.
