Mine's a simple 1280x1024. I've thought about upgrading, but with this screen I can play literally every game out there and don't have to worry about having incompatible dimensions. I've got a few aspects that are out of date, but my monitor isn't one of them.
But who knows, maybe one day in the far-flung future I'll be able to take you up on that challenge.

Mines a 22" 1080p HD monitor. Nothing that special but I like it.

1680x1050, and that's really all I need.
I'm back, I guess.

My school has 27" iMacs that have a stunning 2560x1600 resolution, that's 2 times WXGA (1280x800).

28" Hans G with 1920 x 1200 resolution. So... by default anybody with x1080 has less screen real estate (No increase in usable space, just an increase in ability to view screen at greater distances).
... not that it matters, because I've got two other 21" 1920 x 1080 V7 monitors (that suck (from work)) connected.
Here at work, I've just got my laptop screen and a 21" Dell monitor to supplement.
