Well, you did buy skullcandy headphones... Over priced shit that breaks way to easily. But they sure look snazzy!

They are cheap come with lifetime warranty's and have amazing audio quality for there price. There earbuds go for about $10 when on sale.
Oh, $10 Isn't too bad then. I made the horrible mistake of buying a $60 pair of their ear buds a year or two ago. One ear bud kept loosing sound if I shook the cord, then eventually stopped working. All together. They wouldn't replace mine, but gave me a coupon to buy more of their shit. Just avoid them if you're ever planning on buying a really nice pair.
Of course earbuds aren't made to last very long the wires wear. The wire wearing out isn't always covered by the warranty. They do send out a 50% off coupon if they dont replace it though. That 50% off can be used on any of there products so if you ever want a expensive pair of over ears from them just buy some $10 earbuds cut em in half and send them in. You can then get like $200 headphones for like $110. There over ear headphones are really nice too try on a pair of the expensive ones next time you go to a electronic store they sound and look great.

That's simply hilarious and sad at the same time.

Interesting, but we can't solve your problem, sadly.

If he's on commision, it's worth a shot. Maybe the buyer didn't notice the lifetime warranty.

Getting mad at an employee for doing their job and then being a dick about it. Well I sir, I just plain don't like you. Hope next time your at work someone comes and belittles you for no apparent reason and you cry tears of pain and anguish because your daddy touched you when you were little.
By the way, miss ya son, call me.
Why the fuck would you want Skullcandy earbuds?
I'm back, I guess.

There's your problem.
That was a great post. Right Zach?
I'm sorry OP, I can't understand your story without arrows and green text. Now, im just gonna think you did all that in any random order.
You should get some of those new one's. I think their called Jib or some shit like that. Not bad for 10 bucks. And so I won't get flamed, yeah best buy is retarded sometimes.
Yeah fuck that guy, probably taking orders.

No apparent reason? Can you read, or do you just choose not to?
Don't be a dick to the guy. Just say "no thank you" an leave. People working retail have to deal with so many shitty people every day, it's not even funny. Trust me. I love my job, but it made me hate people.

Was he supposed to know that the product already had a warranty? Also, the warranty Best Buy was offering was probably different that the one the manufacturer had. I promise you the Best Buy one covers consumer fault (as I have bought a warranty from Best Buy before) where as the manufacturer's only protected against manufacturers faults.
Best Buy offers a warranty for almost anything, regardless of what the manufacturer provides. So if you think he is an idiot for doing exactly what he is supposed to do, then you are the idiot. And I hope you step on those headphones and break them, and the warranty won't cover it because it's just against factory mistakes, but the one that guy was offering would have paid for a new one.
