Just want to mention how cool I think it is to see the ones of you who are active and helpful on the boards, both when it comes to "every day n00b-threads" and trying to help out with technicalities, artistical issues etc.

A friendly, happy, honest, HUMBLE and outgoing attitude is bound to bring you forwards and in the long (or even short) run will open up doors for you! This may sound basic and whatnot, but take this to heart and try to think even more of it - of course this goes for IRL too, and perhaps ESPCIALLY in real life where you actually can benefit alot more from having doors opened up for ya!

You're a cool bunch of people, and I'm happy to be part of this community! Yay audio people! ^___________________________^

I think I have, but once in a while, when everyone is doing good for a while, holding the fort in a positive manner, I just think all yuos guises deserves some kind of recognition, even if it's just from some mod-person.

Absolutey wouldn't consider myself as "boss" of anything on NG, however I do share responcibility to keep this place clean with some other awesome BBS mod-guises. ^______________^

I personally likes it when people who have somewhat more administration powers/similiar honestly can acknowledge an undergoing (or finished) job well done (goes for RL too), and in the case of the audio forum, i suppose BBS-mods are those people with a small margin of "say" when it comes to how the outcome and current forum-state.
We've pushed for these things, i.e. "be helpful, respectful and tolerant and use common sense on the forum" a long time, and nowadays the forum more or less run by itself. However, like any given machinery, maintenance and oiling is part of holding a good state. :) IMO this would go for most type of managements, it have worked well the few times I've been at any kind of managing positions (mainly when working with live sound, and having a smaller team, less than 20 people, to help out with building, soundchecking and whatnot).

so big up yourselves and keep being awesome! at the end of the day, this is just me saying "let's all play nice together or i'll ban your sorry asses lolololol ^_____________________^"

also yeah I suppose I should give a big thank you to Rucklo himself for being the pioneering force of stability and order over the past 5 years in here.

I know you and I have our different viewpoints of the audio portal and different agendas as to how to maintain it and help it grow while still giving it a face of professionalism in the end - but in the end you are the one with the most weight around here and you've done a pretty good job of saving it from the chaos it was doomed to before.

So I know I don't say this enough, but thanks old friend :)

Well i'm sorta new so i don't really understand about mods and stuff, all i know is that they decide whether someone gets banned or not when you post your first submission in the audio portal, i think :/

He's more thanking the Audio regulars (Read: The people that contribute on the forums often, mods or not) for helping out new people and providing information such as links to appropriate threads and whatnot that helps lessen the work load of the BBS mods (Such as Rucklo) slightly, as well as create a generally more pleasant atmosphere for the entirety of the forum.

Although we (The audio mods) do play a part in this from time to time as well (At least those of us that frequent the forum), he's thanking the community in general. And as a note, just because you're new here, all mods have the same color background, but not all mods are BBS mods or Audio mods... I for example, have nothing to do with BBS modding activities, I'm one of those nasty guys who passes judgement on new submissions... But I like to direct people to where they need to be from time to time as well here on the forums.
