We all know these songs. Late at night in front of your computer screen. Listening to a song. Looking at facebook or other sites. Scrolling through lost memories, friends, family. Those songs that just make you want to be a better person. Fuck, this song gets me every time. So does this one.
Anyone else have these kinda songs?

Explosions in the Sky and Mono make me feel things that I don't know what they are and when I saw them live there were tears on my face and I didn't know why so I said to myself SomaGuye you need to carry tissues around.

Was actually just listening to this tune. There is something entrancing about this song. I never lose focus even with it's repetitive nature.
Again, I've said this in another thread, listen to Machine Love (band) they have some song that I find mind blowing, and which really put me in a mood in which I try to understand what is important in being a human, and what really is being unique.
A lot of the songs by Kansas as well as a few by Blue Oyster Cult will get most people to think deep.
Some others I feel are of importance:
I recently heard a song by the Killers that goes something like "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier." It's not deep in the slightest, even in the song... but it sure makes me wish it were
