Pretty much all of the above, aslong as he doesn't break the law, there is nothing that could be done.

It depends in what way convicted is.

If the paedophile has gone through his sentence and is clean for a long while, I don't think it's right to still take the kid awy by default. Might require some monitoring or whatever.
Also, depends on what the charges were. If it's full rape of a kid, that might make it more of a nono. but if it's something about a twentier having a relation with a 15 year old, then again, i don't really count this as severe paedophilia.
