Experience points are gained by voting on 5 Flash submissions per day. Every day that you do so, you gain 10 experience. Gain enough experience, and you level up.

You don't introduce yourself directly, because frankly the majority of the forum doesn't actually care about new users at all. Just post until posting here is comfortable, and gradually the people will come to accept you as one of their own.

Or they'll all gang up on you and demand that you leave. You'll pick up on the hints one way or another.

As stated above it's best if you simply use your userpage to introduce yourself. The forum rules do state no "Hi, I'm new" threads.

If you have any questions about Newgrounds (like "How do I get experience?"), we have a Where is / How to? Forum in which you can ask them. Make sure you check out the FAQ first though. In most cases your answer can probably be found there.
