Promote your youtube page in your signature, also set-up your profile page's website as your youtube channel. With new videos you can create a new blog entry to promote the video. Be a conductive member of this community posting threads and replies(although don't make them garbage or one lettered). It might not be a lot but at least then you wouldn't be disliked for doing what you did in this thread.

Why did you take it down? No matter how good of a video you make, there will always be people who hate it or criticize it. Get a backbone and ignore them, unless they have some good advice then try and keep it in mind next time. The internet is a harsh place, people will hate just to hate.
