I have no real problem going to school. I see my friends, I leaarn intresting things, and I have something to do for 7 hours instead of stare at a brick and wonder where cheese comes from.
But I find that some actions teachers preform agrivate me to the brink of violence. It makes me wonder why they even applied for their jobs. Here is a list of these things
smart aelick comments on my papers.
I'm content with getting a D on a test. it tells me that I made a mistake, and gives me somwthing to work on improving.
But when the teacher writes, "I was being generous by giving you this D", I then want to strangle a horde of infant merkats with a pair of pliers. Your job is to grade my paper, not tot try and make me feel like I earned les than what I got. I'd rather get a -2/0 than read that little sentence.
Comparing me to other students.
I am not Marcus Conroy (hypothetical name), I was not raised to be Marcus Conroy, My parents are not the parents of Marcus Conroy, so why do you think I have to be like Marcus Conroy? If you want everyones work to be like Marcus Conroys, adopt marcus Conroy and homeschool him.

When a student is legitametely struggling, the teacher doesn't care. He/She just leaves the student behind and goes on teaching the rest of the class. Then gets mad at him for doing bad on grades because he doesn't know the content. Is that fair? No. and they'll say, "The world isn't fair." yes it is, you just can't deal with responsibility and let the child learn nothing. YOU are what makes the world unfair, and you don't deserve your job. you signed up just so you could feel powerful above abunch of teenagers. Real respectful.
Oh, I forgot,
Demanding respect.
I respect teachers who earn it. Your little teaching degree doesn't mean anything. you want respect? don't try getting in a fight with a teenager. that just proves your weak and desperate for power.
And these are the things Things teachers do that annoy me to no end.

What you say happens to be more true than most people think. Most students have dealt with these kinds of teachers, and they can legitimately attest to the foolishness, audacity, and provocative nature of these teachers.

I was actually expecting an immature rant, but you're right for all of those. Some High School teachers do some or all of those things, and it really makes that class unbearable.

Good write up, Smitty. I share your views on teachers.
What I really hate is knowing our future (what we are taught in school will make an impact on what we become, this is a definite) is in the hands of people who actually don't care about us, but instead, want to make money. I think that's probably the worst feeling, because teachers can't fail us, only we can fail ourselves. This is why I'm so happy there are tons of free educational resources on the Internet for independent learning -- but at the same time, this makes teachers that much lazier.
Everything you said are actually very valid complaints. Teachers should literally cater to the needs of the students when it comes to learning. All of these things are frowned upon by the teaching community and are vices according to the book Teachings Kids K-12, A Reflective Approach.
If you're gonna bitch about the free education that I go to work for and pay taxes into, then fucking give me my god damn money back you ungrateful little shit.

What REALLY bothers me are the teachers who complain. Yes, it isn't fun to be dealing with little kids whining all day, but you chose this job, you also have the ability to make the best of it.

Seriously, do you get "angry" because someone expressed some valid complains of something unrelated to you? If so, you might need professional help or medication.
Any reasonable person that has been through school knows that teachers are not perfect, and there are quite a few that have negative attitudes for unjustifiable reasons. Dismissing everything the OP said as ''idiotic" despite this seems to me like the typical behavior of someone with anger issues.

Not understanding the material themselves.
Giving bad help to the kids who ask for it
