Music and sound wanted. Will pay.

How would you like to hear your music featured in a regional TV commercial? I've been contracted to create a 30 second TV advertisement for a new product and I'm looking to subcontract someone to do the music and sound effects to go with the animation.

I am looking for something orchestral, so composers are not only welcome, but invited!

Also I need someone to do sound effects. I would do them myself, but sound never was my strong spot, besides, I need someone who can focus on just sound in order to get the best results.

We're woking on a bout a 30 day timeline so it will be fast paced work. I want to have the project complete and ready for the client before July 24th. you will, of course, be paid for your work. name your price and we'll negotiate.

A little more info about the project:
My client has invented an innovative new devise for use in buck hunting and trapping. He has contracted me to create a TV advertisement to be aired on the Outdoors channel, (and possibly others) in the Pennsylvania region (and possibly more) in order to spread awareness of this new product. If hired, you would be responsible for creating a short (20-30 second) orchestral score to punctuate the animation. And/or, you would be responsible for coming up with realistic, good quality sound effects for the animation.

I'm gonna be completely honest... I'm skeptical... The last person I interacted with that sported the "NG Counter Troll" sig, I had to get NG Staff to get them to stop harassing me. The same person was also banned numerous times for theft in both the art and audio community, and was well known for trolling using multiple accounts to try make himself seem legit. On top of that, the guy claimed to be a hacker, and used my name as a mod to try scare people into taking him seriously.

So, I'm gonna pass on this one, and I'm just putting that info out there. Should it have been just a bad apple among others with actual good intentions, then good luck to you.

ugh... I'm honestly starting to regret ever making this sig in the first place. it's caused me nothing but trouble. Did someone seriously steal my sig and hack with it? god what a douche... This is not what I intended at all. seriously. I made this for good.... well I'm not that guy whether or not you choose to believe me. my intentions are truely honest. I'm just working on a project and I need some help. I dont want to get rid of my sig but I will if it means no one trusts me...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a badge of mistrust just yet... although if the guy is still running rampant with it, it could eventually turn into one. I'm just putting the information out there for people to consider.

Either way, I'm not participating just as much because I'm already working on numerous projects right now as I'm not participating because I'm paranoid and had a very bad experience dealing with a guy using your sig.

That said, should you find something on my profile you enjoy, shoot me a PM and maybe we can work something out, but I'm unavailable to create anything from scratch at this point in time.
I do, however, wish you good luck in finding someone suitable.

Being a Pennsylvanian, I'd love to work on local advertising. But I would like some more details, via PM if you would like to keep it private: "someone contacted me to find someone to write music" is a little vague, and a little sketchy-sounding.

oh no haha Its not like that, I'll actually be the one who'll be animating it. He asked me what I planed to do for audio and I was like 0_0 'hmm I have no Idea' , so I figured I see If i could find someone to help me. Thanks for your interest! you might wanna look on youtube/the audio portal for something similar to what your looking for so we can at least get an idea of what you want.

1 - Battle orchestral
2 - cartoon orchestral
3 - emotional orchestral
etc.

you see where i am going with this?

also, I think you might want to give more detail on the animation itself...what the idea is. maybe even come up with a rough version

I myself have delved into orchestral before and might be interested in this if i can get some more details

Well, when it's already been said that the project is an advertisement for a "device for use in buck hunting and trapping" to be aired on the "Outdoors channel", you can probably use your brain to figure out the kind of orchestral music that would be appropriate. In terms of instrumentation, "Orchestral" is a very clear term ;)

But yeah, I'd assume that anyone who takes on this job should be given a silent version of the ad to base the score and sound effects off of.

yeah thats a good question. simply saying orchestral is a little vague I agree. Well I'm looking for somthing edgey. somthing like a chase scene, more like a mad rush through the woods. it's gotta be fast paced with driving percussion. and a mounting sense of urgency all coming to a climax and decisive end. The commercial takes place in the woods, so its gota have a wild sorta feel to it. and its a hunting product, so its gotta have the "thrill-of-the-hunt" feel to it aswell while at the same time emboding the majesty, grace and speed of the wild stag. I dont know if I'm making any sense here... I'm no musician so I'm not sure how to put it in musical terms... I cant really think of any examples off the top of my head...
