I am really excited if I can go, but it's definitely out of the budget but we will see later in the future if we can afford it. Many of my second cousins or my mom's friends kids have already been to Japan.
For those who have visited Japan, specifically Osaka, how much do you enjoy it? I would love to just be in the futuristic vibrance of Tokyo, which is probably much better than Shanghai, or visit Mt. Fuji.

I'm half-Chinese half-white, born in the US. I understand why you dislike China, but I think it has a ton of potential and Shanghai is a fairly livable city. Then again I can only account for Shanghai and Beijing and Anhui Province to extent. I wouldn't be surprised if Guangdong province is a much worse place to live than Shanghai and Beijing.
Taiwan, Singapore, and HK are definitely more livable. But seeing as you don't like China, what about Thailand or Vietnam? I think you'd hate those places more than China. But there's one thing we both probably can agree on and that's that Chinese girls are attractive, at least plenty of them.

My family and other relatives will definitely help, but I hopefully will work. Then again we only have to worry about paying for the flight, while hotels and food will be covered a lot by our aunt and her relatives and friends.

>>> Just becareful not to speak Cantonese or English up there in the North, or they'll think you're loaded and charge you the "Guangdong" price. lol. It's funny I 'm with my coworker-step brother speaking to him in Cantonese, and the taxi driver is like "Wah? Guangdon ren?". Because I'm up in Heibi. It's not that I hate Chinese. I just hate what be became, and because it's one of the "old worlds" older cultuers, there is alot of ignorance and pride. Happens to everyone, hell happens to the Brit Expats here. They get drunk they start beating up on the "colonials" (Hong Kongers, Aussies, Canadians, ect ect who just want to have a good time). Sometimes they're just jerks, (and seeing how us Chinese are a huge population, the Jerk community is larger. I'm one of them, except I'm trying not to be one, I'm human what can I say. At least I try anyways, Eddie, I'm sorry for spazing at you). I would have done the same thing in a Fenching way you should have seen me in the 80's and 90's. I was extremely racist.
Now about places to live, The North has more industry, more of the factories, and thus more of the pollution, (like the older foundaries (that make a killing still doing smaller left over contracts from bigger modernized factories still use bronze age smelter klins (beehive shaped, it's inefficent but still very cool), now you told me you took a "subway from Shanghai to Bejing, no doubt the Bullet train, crossing the Mythical Yangzee, My only turn off was all the villagers burning trash. Fields and fields of it, (this is because China sometimes lacks recycling, and other ways to get rid of shit, and if trash builds up do does pandemics, It's always been like this. It's just culture shock.... But you probably saw the mountains like Tian Shan, and other such hills. like Hell man Emperiors once rode past those things.
Taiwan, Singapore, and HK are definitely more livable. But seeing as you don't like China, what about Thailand or Vietnam? I think you'd hate those places more than China
>>> Irony is that Hong Kong and China Taiwan (excluding Korea, and Japan (advanced states), are perferable to Indonesia, Taiwan.
Actually Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore seem to have high standards of living, and friendlier societies. Lik What is it about the Chinese that makes us so aggressive and jingonistic, Like back home in the States Asian youths have no problems socializing with each other, regardless of ethnicity, yet here you got Chinese youths hateing on Japanese, ummm just check out youtube videos made by youths. Where as the Thais just want to party have fun, like Macauese Singaporeans, just want to have a good time. American Asians just want to blow off steam, talking about cars, Tand A, and gaming.
. But there's one thing we both probably can agree on and that's that Chinese girls are attractive, at least plenty of them.
>>> Just don't date a girl from Shanghai, A fair warning. They're Crazy... I mean crazy. My half sister is like 3, and she's attacking me with a plastic sword (she doesn't chose girl toys), and she usually goes for my nads saying "Sa Sa Sa sa sa" then my neck and you know that Chinese toruture 1000 stabbys? Well she basically does 1001 Stabbies. I honestly feel for the guy who breaks up with her. She's cute as pie though.
Plus while bumper caring with her, she'd point to someone she wants you to crash into and says "sa sa sa sa sa" (die die die die die).

>>> My Shanghai sister just for the lulz also beats up boys in her preschool, just for the Lulz, and deliberately be a jerk to her teachers awwwwwwwww again for the Lulz. She's going to fit in very well in school here. lol, as a bully, who beats up boys....... she likes. again for the Lulz. So a fair warning don't date Shanghainese chicks Eddie. Well you said your mom is from Shanghai, while she may be the exception.... Shanghai girls are very very manuplative, They're like Anna Williams from Tekken, or other chick fighters from the games, or that crazy bitch Sailor Mars..... Something tells me I'm going to have very very traumatized Nieces and Nephews. Tiger mom.
And while there is no hope for the older generation of Salvaging China, definatly the younger generations, You have to remember that in the 80s when you rmom was a university student, ALOT of China's Talent was destroyed. Like they would have done some kick ass shit for China, like engineering, and medical, (perhaps in a alternative dimension, Communism feel there and China would have been on the road to recovery by now). So that's the problem China has, had. Purging the brains that can actually run the country, and Mugabenizing it with brain dead idiots. And in the Cultural revolution, being a punk ass bitch revolutionary grunt thug was actually encouraged. So all that Chinese civilization again was purged. and what is left are the farmer Campensinos and Favela Dewellers, trying to struggle for an education, and the currently poorly under educated "professionals" (it's very very common to just buy your diploma), build tofu buildings. My personal favorite was when I was driving a truck load of German parts (I think for pipes), and like I narrowly escaped a bridge collapse, (but to be fair, the tractor trucks (actual tractors pulling trucks), were all ratty (rattling and shit, and vibrations, sonic causes fisures, causes solid stuff molecules to break, shake rattle and roll... Or important pipe projects bring muching needed water to places like Anhui, and the North, for irregation, only to burst.
Most of the so called Super brained Chinese stereotype moved to California.... or more commonly now Australia.... I should know, I associated many times with the Cangzhou Vocational College. (really just a bunch of high school looking kids wandering the courtyards, in a daze). Well fuck the Reds for bringing China this low, killing all the zealous students who only wanted to be friendly with the west (in the 80s Chinese people especially younger ones were extremely curious, (in a friendly way). now they're angry Fenchengs hacking the world, holding rowdy protests, and trying to support some war over some stupid rocky ugly ass Islands. Daoyu Tai).

Doubt it, they have a tech university there I think. Also it is where Dei-Sama lives as well.
As for the OP, I think things could have gone much, much better if he had simply made one big Asian thread and simply bumped it when something of interest had happened instead of making new Asian threads all the time.

Well its not a big deal really. He obviously isnt breaking any rules or anything, I was just making a side remark / jab. Its not really anything toxic to the forums or anything. You more or less know what to expect when you are gonna read a thread by that user, so meh.
